The property is eight miles from Manhattan and five blocks from the number seven train station which has direct service to Grand Central Station and Times Square. There was a time when this was a Ramada Plaza and reviewers warned others not to stay here. That has changed. Now clients are saying the property offers good value for money. And that is something hard to find this close to New York City. Friendly and helpful staff impressed several clients who said they would use the property on future visits to New York. From LaGuardia Airport: Follow signs for the Grand Central Parkway - Long Island, and merge onto the Grand Central Parkway East. Take Exit #8 (111th Street). Make a left at the stop sign. At the first light, make another left and stay to your far right. Come up on the ramp to your right. At the second light you will be at the intersection of 114th Street and Northern Boulevard. Cross Northern Boulevard, and proceed straight along 114th Street for two blocks. The hotel and parking will be on the right hand side. From JFK Airport: Take the Van Wyck Expressway to the Grand Central Parkway West. Move over to your left lane and take Exit 9W, Northern Boulevard West. This is a left lane exit. Go up the ramp and make a left at the light onto 114th Street. Proceed straight down 114th Street for two blocks. The hotel and parking will be on the right hand side. From Newark Airport: Follow signs for the George Washington Bridge and go over the GW Bridge on the lower level. Follow signs for I 87 South - Major Deegan Expressway- to the Triboro Bridge. Go over the Triboro Bridge and merge onto the Grand Central Parkway heading East to Exit #8 (111th Street). Make a left a the stop sign. At the first light make another left and stay to your far right. Come up on the ramp to your right, at the second light you will be at the intersection of 114th Street and Northern Boulevard. Cross Northern Boulevard, and proceed straight along 114th Street for 2 blocks. The hotel and parking will be to your right.
