The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating! I arrived late in the evening and found my room had been upgraded! What a nice surprise! Great location just off the 495.

Overall, a good experience. Good, clean hotel. The room I had had a poor air conditioner. I am sure they would have fixed this if I raised the issue. They were very friendly.

Clean basic hotel. Not a bad price either.

Air conditioning was poor.

Ideally situated near the intersection of I-495 and Sagtikos State Parkway, Hampton Inn Long Island Commack offers a wonderful jumping point for leisure travelers interested in indulging in superb shopping, beautiful beaches and an assortment of frequented historical sites, including Teddy Roosevelts home. Although there are a variety of upscale eateries nearby which can be reached with the hotels local transportation service, you can choose to dine in at the adjacent Premier Diner which boasts delicious Greek and American Cuisine. For guest convenience a complimentary breakfast is also available on-site, as well as a 24-hour beverage area.

The accommodations at this hotel make wonderful retreats as they offer plentiful room and comfortable appointments. They are also very quiet. Customer service at this hotel is top notch as the staff is all around helpful and quite personable, as well as informative about surrounding attractions and services. The diner features delicious food choices, and other surrounding eateries are also very worthwhile. As for the free breakfast, you cant go wrong as it is freshly prepared and offers a wide selection of both hot and cold items to satisfy a variety of tastes.
