Great hotel for those who do not mind getting "off the beaten track" and may want to discover neighborhoods of Brooklyn, more so than New York City. Although nearby subway stops make Manhattan very convenient, too.

Great place to launch a discovery of Brooklyn.

Wish the pool had been warmer.

Have stayed in this hotel twice, first time room booked through Marriott, first room was on a high floor with a lovely view and was very luxurious.

The 637-room New York Marriott at the Brooklyn Bridge is situated just across the river from Manhattan and offers luxury accommodation for the upmarket business or leisure traveler. The 25-story, non-smoking hotel has 25 rooms for business or social functions. The largest, the grand ballroom, can accommodate 2,000 guests. Most of the rooms at this full service hotel enjoy great city views. Nearby attractions and landmarks include the Brooklyn Bridge, the Brooklyn Heights historical district, United Artists Cinema, the Brooklyn Academy of Music and the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens. The Statue of Liberty and the Ellis Island ferries are one subway stop away from the hotel.

This Marriott gets great reviews from those who have stayed here. The rooms are spacious and gracious, the service is prompt and polite and the facilities fancy and fabulous. Sadly, all this comes with a high price, which many say they are prepared to pay on future visits to the big apple. Words of advice from those were here for the weekend: The Sunday brunch is something very special.
