The lobby was gorgeous all decorated for Christmas. The room was very clean and having the Starbucks coffee service in the room was excellent. We will definitely stay at this Marriott again.

The lobby was gorgeous and a Star bucks, too. Has a covered carport.

Can't think of anything we didn't like.

It is conveniently located and up to the Marriott standards, however our floor was under renovations and was dusty and noisy starting around 8:30am.

A clean hotel conveniently located next to the airport and route 81.

The floor in which we stayed was under construction and renovations.

The 350-room Marriott Albany provides quality, affordable accommodation for both business and leisure traveler. The eight-story, non-smoking property is located off I-87 and is a five-minute drive from Albany Airport. The full-service hotel operates a courtesy shuttle from 6am until midnight. The hotel is 20 minutes from downtown Albany and 30 minutes from Saratoga Springs. There are 16 meeting rooms for social or business functions. The largest, the grand ballroom, can accommodate 1,300 guests. Albanys Tech Valley area is a short drive from the property as are the offices of General Electric, Bank of America and Verizon.

Several former guests at this hotel reported finding the friendliest people working at the front desk. The staff got many complements for handling medical emergencies and knowing all the best places to visit in the area. There were some complaints that some of the accommodation was in need of upgrading but those comments were in the minority. Many couples said it was a great place for a relaxing weekend and businessmen reported excellent service and accommodation in the concierge level rooms.
