The hotel itself was nice, quiet, and I was happy with how it looked and the amenities provided. The night clerk was quick in getting us a spare bed, however, immediately disappeared for over half an hour from the phones when trying to call her and I had to send kids to find her. She was outside smoking. Pizza places in that town is closed down and we ordered from the Chinese take out menu provided in the desk drawer in the room and received the worst food I've ever had. Avoid it. I believe it was the Golden Dragon. The breakfast bar was good but the variety limited compared with the broad array at Residence Inn in Flagstaff. Fresh Fruit would have been appreciated (other than the apples). However, it was more than sufficient in terms of quality of the food itself. All in all, it was a decent stay.

Nice spacious well furnished room and toiletries smelled great.

Night clerk was a smoker and stayed outside smoking too much. Chinese food (Golden Dragon) off take out menu disgusting.

Travelers passing through Santa Rosa say this Holiday Inn Express is ideal for an overnight stop. This maybe an older hotel but it is well maintained and both the rooms and public areas are spotlessly clean. Families with children said the indoor swimming pool and the games rooms provided an excellent diversion after a long day of driving. There were good reviews about the complimentary breakfast, competitive rates, and a team of employees determined that all guests should have an enjoyable visit.
