The hotel is beautiful, the service is impecable. The staff is attentive and profesional. However the restaurant was lack luster at best.

It was wonderful! Did not want to come home. People so friendly, and the weather was unbelievable. No humidity. I have recommended to everyone who would listen to me. My husband was very pleased, and he is very hard to please. The only problem was with the rent car. We thought we were getting a Tahoe, and instead we had a Trail Blazer.
OK, but I'd choose others over this - posted on 11/16/2006
Hacienda at Hotel Santa Fe was ok - but at $*/night it was disappointing. The overall appearance of the grounds and interior was good. The location was ok, but not great - walking to the square would have been too much and the highly-touted shuttle stopped running at 10pm - not even late enough to pick us up from a long dinner. Other "misses": non-working spa in the Hacienda, poor service at breakfast, and the rudest staff I've ever encountered when we asked for wine glasses in our room. I've also stayed at Four Kachinas B&B and El Dorado Hotel and would choose either of them over this.

I highly recommend the Hacienda to anyone looking for a nice stay in Santa Fe. The hotel is very charming and the rooms are beautiful.
best shower in town - posted on 05/01/2006
hotel was expensive but had the best shower I've experienced. Rooms were very small which surprised me for the rate of charge

The rooms were pretty simple for a luxury hotel, but the service was terrific. We made good use of the shuttle service which ferried us all around town to and fro. The hotel is within easy walking distance of the plaza, but not necessary a pleasant walk - the street is busy. We had a problem with our room and the hotel moved us immediately, which was good. All in all, we had a lovely stay. PS: the restaurant in the hotel is just okay.Eat elsewhere.

From the moment my husband and I arrived at the Hacienda, we were impressed with the attentiveness of the staff. The rooms were clean and spacious. A continental breakfast was included with the Hacienda rooms, and that too was excellent! We liked it that the hotel was not right downtown, but an easy walk of about five or six blocks to everything. The next time we visit Santa Fe, we will definitely stay at this hotel again!
