Customer Reviews for Park Inn & Suites Santa FE

Not up to par for brand. - posted on 02/26/2007

This location of Park Inn is a bit aged and run down. It is on a part of the strip that is a little seedy (strip club within walking distance). The bed wasn't comfortable, and the wireless inet signal is so weak I could not get a connection at all.

Ok Stay in Santa Fe - posted on 12/14/2006

It was snowing when I arrived and when walking to the car for luggage I slipped and fell. I went to the desk and suggested it be salted. I was there two days and the area where I slipped was never salted. I went and spoke with the manager who more or less called me a liar and said that it had been salted. It was not. The room was clean and I would stay again despite this persons comments.

Staff could NOT get the accounting correct and checked us out everyday. Since there were NO elevators--we are 63 & 67, we had to go downstairs to get a new key. There is NO deluxe continental breakfast--free coffee is in a separate room from the restaurant! all-in--all, a mess. Shuttle was never on time causing us to miss some city attractions. This is NOT a 3 star facility by any means!

Served A Purpose - posted on 08/04/2006

This was a decent hotel for a reasonable price in Santa Fe. The rooms were clean and just fine, nothing fancy or unusual. The free breakfast was quite disappointing especially when compared to other hotels in the same price range with much better options. The Park Inn gave you a plastic bag with a bagel, packet of cream cheese, juice drink, and a piece of fruit - to take to your room and eat.

Heated pool was great and very clean. Room was nice and the staff was very friendly. I stayed pool side and it was very quiet. I like the pet friendly. I will come back.

a total dump - posted on 07/03/2006

An abandoned gas station shares the same parking lot, next door, a liquor store. View from our room was the dumpsters of abandoned garage. I was worried to park my car here, they even have you sign a separate waiver stating they are not responsible if something happens to your car .Room: bedding looks over 30 years old. Carpet was dirty and old. Outside light by our room was broken. Cigarette butts all over the stairs. Abandoned cars, a car engine, shopping cart at abandoned garage. We refused to stay and they would not give our money back.

Find a different hotel - posted on 06/12/2006

They forgot to save the suite I reverved. I tried to see if I could go to a different hotel without being charged or if she could make it cheaper to make us happy for the first night we would wait untill the next day for a suite. She said no. So we took that room. Some of the many probles phone, tv, lamp did not work. The breakfast was not what they said it was. It was a old bagel, old orange, Capri-Sun, and a granola bar. Not waffles, cereal, and cofee or orange juice. This stay was terrible! Thanks this made are honeymoon a nightmare.

Complementary breakfast consisted of a small stale bagel, a breafast bar and a green apple. The items were put in a plastic bag as a "to go" breakfast. NO coffe available. Plan on going out for breakfast.

It was fine for the price. - posted on 04/16/2006

It was fine. The room was clean and well kept. The service was good. The breakfast was very simple! Ther was some barking as they allow dogs. I suggest a room facing the pool as I did not feel comforable opening the blinds facing the parking lot.

Nice lobby with fireplace, nice breakfast area with big screen TV and expanded continental breakfast (waffles, cereal, bagels, etc). Clean rooms.

Bring your own pillow & towel! - posted on 06/02/2005

The room at the Park Inn was very clean. However, the towels were practically thread-bare and rough, the worst I've seen at a hotel. The pillows were also hard and lumpy. The breakfast buffet was ok if you love bread, bagels & waffles. Service at the front desk and at the buffet was slow and inefficient, the employees were nice enough though. Ok for one night but wouldn't stay any longer.
