WE HAD A WONDERFUL TIME AT BISHOPS LODGE. THERE WAS ONE GIRL AT THE FRONT DESK THAT WAS NOT FRIENDLY AT ALL BUT THERE WAS ANOTHER THAT WAS AWESOME AND VERY HELPFUL. WE REALLY ENJOYED OUR STAY.

We stayed at Bishop's Lodge for 8 days. The sink stopped up on day 6 and even though we told everyone in sight about it, nothing was done. The restaurant was the highest priced in town. Rooms in the original lodge where you will stay need some work, outside veranda was not swept in main restaurant during our entire stay, stairs from parking lot are only fit for a mountain goat, so I do not advise this hotel for seniors, especially with the high altitude, I almost died. Nice trails (but hazardous) on the acreage around the hotel made up for the room.

We prepaid our room through the internet. Upon arrival, we learned of a $29 per day "resort fee". This increased the cost of the room by 25%. It was misleading. Property needs a number of repairs. An overall disappointment.

We looked foreward to a nice stay and booked for 3 nites. We booked after one. The room was large and trashed. The view was of the service drive to the kitchen. The place is run down and crusing on its former rep. Ugh. Stay away. Nasty expensive ugly.

I stayed at the Bishops Lodge for several days. The customer service was horrible - and the restaurant was even worse. Because I was not feeling well I ordered room service on three occassions - each time it arrrived cold and missing something. The maid service never acknowledged the "privacy please" message placed in the door - instead they banged on the door until I got up and told them to come back later.

North Lodge well worn. Maid wakes with brisk knock prior to 8 even our checkout time was hours later. No need to clean the room twice!

THE BISHOPS LODGE STAFF WAS INCREDIBLE. THEY WERE ALL SO HELPFUL AND VERY SWEET. FROM THE FRONT DESK TO THE RESTRAUNT I WAS TREATED WITH THE BEST OF SANTA FE HOSPITALITY. ALTHOUGH THE ROOMS WERE ALITTLE TIRED THE STAFF WAS WILLING TO ACCOMODATE MY NEEDS AND REQUESTS WITH A SMILE. REMEMBER THIS IS A HISTORIC PROPERTY. I THOUGHT OVER ALL THIS WAS A FANTASTIC STAY I'LL BE BACK

After many trips to Bishop's over the last 10 years, they've hit rock bottom with service to the pleasure traveler. The staff and even the manager needs to take SEVERAL courses on customer service!!
