Customer Reviews for Econo Lodge Santa Fe

Great stay, fair price. - posted on 02/26/2007

This hotel is near most restaurants and has spacious rooms with refrigerators and microwaves. In addition, a hot breakfast is served every morning and the common areas are kept very clean. Great hotel.

Thanksgiving in Santa Fe - posted on 11/30/2006

We arrived in Santa Fe Thanksgiving morning. Our room was waiting. We had driven all night, & were able to take a nap before heading to our son's home. Breakfast was warm, tasty and abundant, the pool and hot tub clean and available, free internet worked and the personnel helpful. We had 3 fun days. All this for a very modest price. Thank you.

Bad Smell - posted on 10/11/2006

The Staff were friendly however, our two rooms were smelly. They were non-smoking rooms, but obviously prior guests did not respect that. The telephone jack in one room was broken so we were unable to call to each other to coordinate plans. The carpet had scum stuck in the rug that could be scraped off by my shoe. They sprinkled a perfumed powder to absorb odours and came back later to vacuum. Economy shouldn't mean dirty and smelly! One of our worst hotel stays ever.

Great location, poor breakfast - posted on 06/27/2006

This hotel was definitely worth the price. However, the breakfast left much to be desired. It was very crowded and poorly organized. You had to move through other diners just to get to the food-which wasn't very good to begin with. If breakfast is important to you, this is NOT the place to be. However, everything else about the hotel was great for the price. Our rooms were very clean and provided all the normal amenities. We also really liked the location-close to local shopping including and restaurants. It was also only a short distance's drive from the Plaza.

Good deal for the budget minded - posted on 04/05/2006

The price is very good and the hotel is good overall. The indoor pool was too cold to enjoy. The hot tub was nice. The carpeting needs to be redone. The room itself had everything we needed. Overall the hotel is clean. The staff was OK, but not especially attentive. The included breakfast, while nothing special, is very nice for the price. Made for good stop on our ski vacation.

Read This Before Reserving - posted on 01/17/2006

Got to the hotel late around 11:00 p.m. Santa Fe time. Was told that I got the last room even though I reserved the room at least 2 week in advance. Ended up with a double bed smoking room. Rug was dirty, bed was old, sheets smelled, not enough towels, roach crawled across rug, air unit was intermittent, customer service did not seem to care and blamed problem to person

Santa Fe Econo Lodge - posted on 12/22/2005

This motel was good and for economy and comfort met and exceeded my expectations. The only negative comment I would make is the hallway carpet leading to the rooms was worn and in need of cleaning. In general the hallway corridors were in need of some freshening. Other than that everything was acceptable.

Seniors, take note - posted on 11/12/2005

For Econolodge's senior rate, this hotel is outstanding. It's clean, only 15 minutes from the plaza, rooms are spacious and lots of parking. Terrific deal.

Disappointment with room - posted on 11/06/2005

We were 'assigned' a room based on internet reservation; it was not a non-smoking room; there was a large sign stored up against one wall in the room. It did not appear that the facility was anywhere near full.

Not special price - posted on 07/12/2005

When I first arrive the counter guy told me that he couldn't find my booking record. They are not very kind people.
