The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. Each one that we encountered, right down to the parking attendants, were gracous. It was our first time traveling with our dog, Sasha, and staff were very kind to us while being responsible to the hotel and other guests. The chef sent up his special recipe dog biscuits!
A Great Choice - posted on 05/23/2007
Stayed here with my family when we were in town for the Pueblo dances. Everyone loved it, even the kids. Rooms were beautiful, entire hotel was immaculate. All staff were friendly and extremely helpful. Of course, we got a great rate so that helped too! The pool is on the roof, rather small but with a marvelous view of the city. Only complaint? Valet parking is only option and it's $20 per day. Service was great though and car was available within minutes. I can't wait to go back for a romantic stay without the kids!

Stayed 2 nights here. There are so many great hotels w/flair in Santa Fe that ElDorado probably would not be my first choice. Great Dining experience, great service after they did not have the room avail we booked and paid for (incl some add amenities for us) , nice KIVA rooms, okay Spa(slow service, sauna not working, facial just okay for the MONEY spent)

I have been visiting Santa Fe twice a year for the last three years. I try to stay at a different hotel each time I visit, as they all have unique character. I would highly recommend the Eldorado. It is beautiful and full of the southwest spirit. The hotel was spotlesss and the room was lovely with plenty of space. The staff was very polite and professional. I would definately stay at this hotel again.

the valet parking requires you to give up keys to them to your car and they are only responsible for damage to the outside not the inside that they have access to, room had no ac and we where upgraded and that room had no ac, they refunded only half after the hassles, were not told that construction was taking place and at 6:30am 15-20 workers hammering and drilling below our window... will stay somewhere else next time oh also called front desk to ask how refund would be taken care of and the clerk hung up the phone very rude, staff needs education on customer service...
Needs Improvement: air conditioning

Rates were good, but we weren't told that the hotel was under construction. There was scaffolding outside our window and workers there mon-fri. We asked to be moved and were upgraded, which was nice, but what a hassle. Folks didn't clean our room until 4 in the afternoon and the hotel seemed terribly understaffed. Won't stay there again.

The hotel is located a block west of the Plaza and is an easy walk to the shops of the Plaza. Food is wonderful ,as are the rooms...but both are expensive is most near the Plaza . Great place to rest and enjoy Santa Fe.

Upon check in we were upgraded to the 5th floor suite and had a fireplace and lots of space. It was great having a fire in the morning while getting ready to go out.

We enjoyed our three night stay at the Eldorado. The hotel was excellent. The hotel staff was very responsive and courteous. The dining room for dinner is one of the best in Santa Fe.

Location is terrific. Lots of shopping and dining within walking distance of this property. Wonderfully polite and attentive staff. Dining is top notch. Did not care much for the rooftop pool and hot tub.
Large but nice! - posted on 11/12/2004
I've stayed at the Eldorado twice, its a very large hotel, but you just can't beat the location! Don't stay there if you want small and cozy
Beautiful Hotel - posted on 10/18/2004
beautiful hotel, great service, room service not as good as expected though - especially for how expensive it is. Had a loose cable on the roof as well (the roof was our patio) which should have been secured or not there at all.
