What a dump. AC did not work and no service at front counter to help. Rooms are small and dirty. We cut our stay short due to this place. Seeing the shuffle board by the pool should tell you how long this place has been around. Tear it down please.

Not bad - posted on 07/20/2006

Not bad for the price in Santa Fe. Room was small, dated but clean. Just hate it when they have dark, dark rugs on the floor. Makes you wonder what they are hiding. Breakfast was good and plentiful. I think we would stay there again if the opportunity arose.

For the price, you can't beat it. No frills, but clean and comfortable. Great breakfast and nice staff. The Whole Hog Restaurant is right across the street--Wonderful Ribs and pulled pork. I will stay here again!

great deal - posted on 11/30/2006

We got the hotel room for around $* on a Saturday night. For that price it was a smoking deal, but for a honeymoon it would be disappointing. Reasonably clean, decent breakfast, decent location, pleasant staff (thoug we didn't need much). Dated/slightly cheesy pseudo southwest decor in, ultimately, a cinderblock building.

The BEST HOTEL EVER! - posted on 11/11/2006

We had the best time, a very great cooked breakfast, business center, gym & friendly staff. We were in room 237 which had a mountain view. room also had a private balcony with chairs and table. This hotel is a five star ***** for sure.

No way this hotel gets 5 smiley faces. It's pleasant and they try, but the bed was ancient and uncomfortable. Worst of all, the heat went on and off w/a great roar and whoosh every 20 minutes. Santa Fe is wildly overpriced, and this place is acceptable, but not hardly sublime.

Great Value! - posted on 10/06/2005

I didn't realize it until the desk clerk mentioned it, but the hotel restaurant is a second location of the famous Plaza Restaurant downtown. I had the best turkey dinner I'd ever had (don't tell my Mom). The complimentary breakfast was wonderful. This hotel is now my headquarters for exploring Santa Fe!

Best Bang for the Buck - posted on 10/04/2005

The motel was slightly outdated but the price and service were excellent. The room included a free breakfast which was small but adequate. The coffee in the diner was Starbuck's quality and perfect for a cool New Mexico morning. In over-priced Santa Fe this was a welcome option that made it easy to enjoy downtown and the surrounding areas. I would definitely return for another stay and would recommend this place to my friends.

As a frequent visitor to Santa Fe...this hotel has earned my business forever. The room was large, mattress extra comfy. The best part was the restaurant, and I learned that the Chef was a regular on TV's "The food network". The meals were 1/3 the price of the more trendy establishments but they were the finest I've ever eaten in a hotel. I can't beleive that this hotel is often one of the cheapest in town. You can literally save hundreds here...and still have resort quality.

The beds and pillows were old and not comfortable. However, the complimentary breakfast at the ajoined diner was very nice. This is a case of 'you get what you pay for'.
