The room and bathroom were entirely too small and the shower was cold! The continental breakfast was $10! There are way too many other hotels to chose from in Santa Fe that have a lot more to offer than this one does, and the other hotels are actually located in the historic shopping area. On the upside, the towels were soft, the parking was free, and the hotel offers a complimentary shuttle for anywhere within a 1 mile radius. Our advice?Skip it!
Nice enough for anyone - posted on 12/07/2006
I really enjoyed my stay at the Hotel Santa Fe. It was quaint, clean and the most bang for the buck I found there. I was a little nervous b/c of the price but was very pleasantly pleased. The food was good there but the resturant staff argued non stop in front of guests. It was very unprofessional.

This is the most comfortable, and beautiful hotel I've stayed in, the service is great. Our room was impecably clean, lots of extras. The locations is perfect for tourists. Absolutely worth the $$$.

Nice hotel with everything you need from friendly employees, excellent spa, close to downtown. It will be my selection to stay from now on!!

Very nice hotel with exeptional concierge service. Concierge spent at least 45 minutes giving great tips on things to do and see, both in Santa Fe and surrounding area.

Desk clerk gave us room next to guest laundry and over entrance with traffic, shuttles, etc. When we objected,we were told our "class"of reservation allowed only a base room with no amenities. We were changed by someone else, however, the room lacked anything shown in the photos and value for price was poor. Willnever stay there again as I will be visiting on business monthly as of April.

good location, the hotel was clean but not a lot happening onsite. be sure to use the shuttle to get to the plaza, beats walking

We've stayed multiple times and never been disappointed. The staff is a little undertrained but very eager to please. The rooms and all public spaces are well kept up and there is always seasonal decoration, flowers, etc. Best bet, ask for odd numbered room in the teens on 2d floor with mt view and balcony. We always stay here and have many happy memories

The Hacienda at the Hotel Santa Fe was exactly what I was hoping for on my first visit to NM - beautiful Southwestern decor and architecture. Service was exceptional throughout, from housekeeping & wait staff to drivers. The free shuttle was a godsend when we were caught in an unexpected rainfall in the middle of the Plaza. And food was wonderful! Bathroom was well appointed with safety handles, pull-down shower bench, and handheld showerhead.

We enjoyed the ambience of this hotel. It is also well located, within easy walking distance to the major sites, dining, and shopping in Santa Fe. The room we were had been kept smoke-free and was well cleaned every day. When we accidentally dropped something near the headboard, we found it unacceptably dusty, as if it hadn't been vacuumed for months.

Although more expensive than I like to spend for a hotel room, this hotel can't be beat in Santa Fe. The rooms have high-speed internet, a spa-like bathroom with pressurized rain shower, blow dryers, kiva fireplace, and luxurious bed, etc. I've been spoiled

close to the plaza (5 blocks) and out of the rat race. the free shuttle solves your parking in town situation, in santa fe thats a big plus
Good Experience - posted on 11/26/2004
We spent 3 nights in the hotel and were quite pleased with the experience. Rooms were well appointed, but were kind of small for the price we we paid. restaurant in the lobby was quite good. Location is also good, SF plaza being just 10 minutes walk.
