Hotel Santa Fe is Native American owned (Picuris Pueblo) and offers guests the opportunity to witness Native American traditions and culture amid peaceful gardens and handcrafted sculptures. Guests can enjoy dinner in a teepee, observe authentic ceremonial dances on the patio, taste Pueblo bread, and listen to local musicians and storytellers. Located in the historic downtown Santa Fe area, it is within walking distance of numerous restaurants, shops, art galleries, museums, and within a ten minute drive to the Santa Fe National Forest in the Sangre de Cristo mountains where outdoor activities include skiing, camping, picnicking, hiking, backpacking or sightseeing and relaxing in the beautiful mountainous area. The Hotel's luxury shuttle offers service for guests to and from the Albuquerque airport one hour away ($35/person), and there is free shuttle service to and from various downtown locations.

While the rooms are clean and cozy, some guests feel that they are a little small. The pool is beautiful and clean, and the ambiance and entertainment are much enjoyed. Some guests feel that the Amaya restaurant is a little over-priced, and the hotel staff is considered to be friendly and delightful by some guests but unfriendly by others. Hotel Santa Fe Accommodations

Hotel Santa Fe has Traditional Rooms (featuring a writing desk, fully-stocked mini-bar, and a King bed), Junior Suite (separate sitting and sleeping area, full sofa bed, mini-bar, iron/ironing board), Deluxe King Suites (2 phones and 2 TVs), and some Suites have an in-room safe. Many of the rooms have Kiva fireplaces. Special packages are offered: Native American, Romance, and Ski packages. The Hacienda is an exclusive retreat located within the four acres of the Hotel and features 35 special rooms and suites. Rooms are smoke-free, and there is room service, wireless internet access, cable TV, and there are some rooms specially designed for handicapped accessibility.

Amenities offered

In addition to enjoying the comfortable rooms with the delightful Native American/Southwestern decor, guests can enjoy the beautiful outdoor pool and hot tub, full spa treatments, walking tours, and the fitness center. There is a business center, and corporate travelers will appreciate the meeting and banquet facilities which offer Native American Blessings, Native American Drummings, and teepees for smaller meetings or planning sessions. Banquet facilities are available for weddings and other special functions. The on-site Amaya Restaurant features traditional American Indian fare as well as Southwestern cuisine and regional U.S. foods served in a casual atmosphere with soothing Native American flute music played in the background.

If driving, turn off I-25 at the St. Francis exit, continue north on St. Francis to the intersection of St. Francis and Cerrillos Rd.--turn right onto Cerrillos Rd. Continue a short distance on Cerrillos Rd. to Paseo de Peralta. The Hotel is located at the corner of these two streets.
