With the stunning Organ Mountains to the east and the Rio Grande to the west Las Cruces is a picturesque town filled with wonderful activities. Golfing, great sites and fantastic weather are only some of the reasons people flock here. Although the area is filled with natural beauty a trip to the A. R. Leding Cactus Garden is a real treat.
Wine connoisseurs already know that New Mexico began producing wines back in the mid 1600s. That means they’ve had plenty of time to perfect their skill. Taste any glass of New Mexican wine and you’ll agree.
Las Cruces is the location of a few great festivals, one of which is a wine festival. One of the others is the annual Whole Enchilada Fiesta. This is one party that can’t be missed. Fantastic food, live music, food, rides and more food... and it’s all amazing food! Join the crowds and great ready for a wonderful fiesta. Just as a heads up, you’ll need a siesta after you down all of that food.
