The 62-room Holiday Inn Express Hotel and Suites Balloon Fest Park provides affordable quality accommodation equally suited for families on vacation or the business traveler. The three-story hotel has easy access to Interstate 25 and is only minutes from the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta Park and the Sandia Casino. Items included with the room rate are a hot breakfast buffet, high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, a morning newspaper and parking. There is one meeting room available for business or social functions that can accommodate 30 guests. Area landmarks and attractions include the University of New Mexico, Sandia Peak Ski and Tramway, Old Town, Kirtland Air Force Base, St. Clair Winery, Rio Grande Zoo, National Atomic Museum, Sandia Labs and shopping at the Cottonwood Mall.

Now that this Holiday Inn Express has been renovated it gets great reviews for its modern, well equipped rooms that are spotlessly clean. Many guests said the views of the Sandia Mountains from their rooms were spectacular. Families with young children said the swimming pool was ideal after a day of traveling and the hot breakfast was better than they expected.
