Best hotel in ABQ! - posted on 12/02/2006
Hotel was wonderful!!! Minor problem with HUGE convention - staff couldn't have been nicer or more accomodating. Just wish they had more than one person working the front desk on a BUSY Saturday night. Worth the money to stay here and I would do it again!!
Good Quality for the Price - posted on 08/14/2006
Had no troubles at all at this property. Convenient downtown location near Old Town & across street from event plaza & convention ctr. Rooms we had (4 during the month of August) were all well equipped and fresh. Hallways showing signs of wear. Good breakfast buffet. Business Center = small 'closet' w/PC and printer. Pleasant stay. Would return.
Nice stay at the Hyatt - posted on 11/05/2005
Room was not ready at check in but we were upgraded to a business room, which was very nice, with an awesome view of the mountains. Comfortable bed and spacious, clean bathroom. Food is average. Hotel facilities ok, carpets need a thorough cleaning; gym is very well equipped but it is located on the 3rd floor, which is a smoking floor, and although gym does not smell, as soon as you get off the elevator you are overcome with the smell of cigarettes. Staff was friendly enough and helpful.
No Heat - posted on 10/06/2005
The hotel doesnt have heat until mid Oct. despite the outside tempature being 40. Stay away. The stff just says that is the way it is.
Not what you expect - posted on 08/28/2005
We were traveling in NM and wanted to have a nice room downtown. I travel quite a bit an normally stay at a Marriot because of there overall great facilities and service. This facility doesn't come near what you would expect. The tub drain wouldn't drain and you could'nt take a shower without the tub filling up. The bed sheets didn't fit the bed and consequectly the sheets would not stay tucked in. The room did not have the all of the normal towels, mats supplies etc. And finally the people at the front desk had an attitude. Next time I'll stay at a Marriott.
Hotel Ok Parking Not - posted on 06/23/2005
Please make note before visiting this hotel that there is only parking if you pay for it. This can be extremely frustrating if you are on a set budget and dont have extra to spend for PARKING!!!!
Great Service - posted on 05/17/2005
This hotel lived up to the Hyatt's standards of excellent service. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. The beds need updating, but the front desk mentioned that they will be getting the Hyatt Grand Beds later this year.
Hotel not worth the money - posted on 05/17/2005
The rooms were dark and old. This hotel needs to refurbish their rooms. The floors/carpet were dirty. We put on clean socks, and within 10 minutes, the bottoms of our socks were filthy. Bathroom is old. Tub and grout were brown. Restaurant service was horrible. Waited 30 minutes for our order to be taken.
