Customer Reviews for Econo Lodge Old Town

not quite - posted on 11/15/2005

The place was said to have wireless internet, it didn't work. Where was the jacuzzi, it was just a jacuzzi tub. Plus there was an unknown pet surcharge and we had to stay in a smoking room. Not cool.

Good stay - posted on 08/29/2005

One cannot find a better located, more reasonably priced place to stay close to Old Town. Our recent stay was our 3rd in four years, and we will use it again on our next visit to Old Town.

Nice, inexpensive digs! - posted on 04/19/2005

For an inexpensive hotel in Albuquerque in walking distance from Old Town, and five minutes from downtown, EconoLodge Old Town is tops. Clean, neat room, good king size bed, courteous, helpful staff and adequate free continental breakfast. Would stay there again if ever back in Albuquerque.

Not a bad stay - posted on 05/22/2007

Area is safe and well lit. Room was clean, but had to ask for more than 3 towels. Sheets aren't very soft. Breakfast isn't great, but at least has edible food. Wireless connection is iffy, and if you can't get a connection, they are more than willing to rent you a cable for $3...defeats the purpose of "free" wireless. Good deal for the price though. Nice to be within walking distance of Old Town and Aquarium. Would stay there again.

a bad experience - posted on 04/16/2007

beds are awful. Half the pillows are actually sofa cushions. A/C barely works.

Great Old Town Locale - posted on 03/24/2007

Great location an easy walk to Old Town. Closer and less expensive than the "nice" downtown hotels. Clean, with good wireless internet, a refrigerator and microwave in the room, and helpful staff. Did not use pool or in-room jacuzzi, but it is unusual that an economy hotel would even offer these. Rate 4 only because it is not luxurious.

Clean, Comfortable and Simple - posted on 08/22/2006

Great location in Historic downtown. Very reasonable price. Comfortable rooms, very clean and quiet. Indoor pool was nice but no chairs to sit and watch swimmers.Continental b-fast was lacking. Overall good value

Simple but pleasant - posted on 08/04/2006

Very courteous staff, clean rooms, we had a king sized bed and love seat with fridge, coffee maker, microwave, clock radio, iron w/board, jucuzi tub, etc. Was quiet. We had plenty of towels. We did not get a chance to try the pool and hot tub, but looked comfortable

for the price ok - posted on 08/03/2006

for the price this hotel is ok. it?s good for everybody that wants to stay close to Old Town and not to pay much. I slept only in the rooms (clean) and didn?t try the other facilities, so I can?t tell about them. Matresses are not the best. Would sleep there again.
