The 256-room Marriott Albuquerque Pyramid North provides luxury accommodation at an affordable price for both the business and leisure traveler. The 10-story, non-smoking hotel is located off I-25 in the Journal Center Business Complex and is minutes from Albuquerque’s historic old town and the Sandia Peak Aerial Tramway. Items included with the room rate are local telephone calls, a morning newspaper and parking. There are 19 meeting rooms available for business or social functions. The largest can accommodate 1,500 guests. The hotel has 54 two-room suites and a concierge level with upgraded rooms and private lounge. Area landmarks and attractions include eight golf courses, the Albuquerque Aquarium and Rio Grande Botanic Gardens, the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center, Sandia Peak Ski Resort, Isleta and Sandia Casinos and the Rio Grande Zoo.

Many guests were stunned by the amazing 10-story atrium lobby with a waterfall. They were also pleased with the reasonable rates and the cheerful crew of happy and efficient employees. Couples who spent a weekend getaway here had a great time and said the weekend rates were lower and there were fewer people to enjoy the hotel’s facilities. Room service got good reviews for being prompt. There were complaints about the charges for Internet access when nearby hotels provide the service free. Marriott Albuquerque Pyramid North Accommodations

All the guestrooms, and 56 suites, have a work desk with high-speed Internet access, 32-inch flat screen Internet browser television with cable movie and news channels, pay-per-view movies, alarm clock, tea and coffee making facilities, iron and ironing board, pullout sofa bed, bathrobes, hairdryer and two-line telephone with voicemail and speakerphone. Video games and players are available for rent.

There are several places to eat close to the hotel including a Cracker Barrel, PF Chang’s China Bistro and the Texas Land and Cattle Steakhouse. From Albuquerque Airport (ABQ) 10 miles: Head west on Sunport Boulevard to I-25 North (towards Santa Fe). Continue on I-25 for approximately 8 miles. Exit #232 Paseo del Norte. Turn left over the freeway and take an immediate left onto I-25 southbound frontage road (Pan American Freeway). The Pyramid is the third structure on the right.
