The 353-room Hanover Marriott is 24 miles from Liberty International Airport and provides luxury accommodation at an affordable price for both the business traveler and families on vacation. The eight-story, non-smoking hotel has an impressive atrium lobby, is close to 50 Fortune 500 companies, and 40 miles from New York City. Items included with the room rate are in-room tea and coffee, local telephone calls, a morning newspaper and parking. There are 18 rooms available for business or social functions. The largest, the grand ballroom, can accommodate 1,200 guests. Area landmarks and attractions include six golf courses, the Antique Mall in Morristown, The Mall at Short Hills, the Papermill Playhouse in Millburn and the Flemington Outlet Malls. The hotel is home to the Auld Shebeen, an authentic Irish pub fashioned in Ireland from reclaimed materials and reassembled at this hotel.

Couples say this is a marvelous Marriott for a weekend getaway. The rooms are spacious, the service superb and rates are lower at weekends. Those who spent more for a room on the concierge level said it was money well spent. Most guests said they would recommend this hotel to others and plan to stay here the next time they come to Whippany.
