Residence Inn by Marriott West Orange is a hotel meant for longer stays. Located about 30 mins. outside of New York City, this hotel is a comfortable, homey place to settle in. Newark Liberty International Airport is nearby, as is the Prudential Center, South Mountain Arena and Reservation, and various business parks. Route 280 is very close, so downtown Newark and the Penn Station transportation hub are also close by. For entertainment, there is an embarrassment of choices. Nearby Montclair is home to many trendy restaurants and bars, while all of the main streets boast excellent shopping. If you wish to take in some history, visit Newark Museum or Thomas Alva Edison's laboratory. West Orange has plenty of supermarkets, including a Whole Foods, movie theaters, and sit-down chain restaurants. All in all, this Residence Inn is placed perfectly for long-term sojourns.
