Great atmosphere, privacy respected, very nice breakfast.

Overall a very good hotel. The European style is very attractive. The restaurant was very good. The staff was very helpful and attentive.

The Grand Summit Hotel is located in the affluent town of Summit, about 40 mins. from NYC. Downtown Summit is full of upscale shops, restaurants, and small businesses. Summit is easy to navigate, and has fantastic public transportation; the downtown train line, within walking distance of the hotel, has a direct link to Manhattan. Summit is home to many cultural events, including the summertime Summit Music Festival. For golfers, Beacon Hill Country Club offers a gorgeous green. The Summit Hotel's Hunt Club restaurant offers fine dining and catering for all your hosting needs. Guests will be charmed by the elegant feel of the Summit Hotel's grounds and interior.

The Grand Summit Hotel is a lovely stay for those who want to get away from it all. Its homey atmosphere and quaint surroundings make for a pleasurable stay. The facilities are lovely, and there's much to do in the town. Summit isn't the most happening place for young singles, but older couples and weekenders will love the town. Travelers can't beat the proximity to the city, and the Midtown Direct train service makes sightseeing a breeze. Check out the hotel's specials, as well. Overall, the Grand Summit is a nice treat for both long and short term travelers.
