Overall, the stay was quite pleasant. However ,the maid came into my room without knocking. Luckily, I was dressed.

The room was not ready when we arrived. However, the customer service supervisor was very accomodating and made us feel welcome and important, even with the inconvenience. The same was for the service personnel when our refrigerator did not work and at 1:30 am changed it. All of the above were friendly and offered assistance with our visit to Manhattan. The morning personnel were average, at best, with service. The room was good, linen great, and breakfast good.

The only problem we experienced was the sound and vibration from some kind of motor near/close by our room. The sound was muffled, but the vibration was strong and caused the lamps and everthing in the room to vibrate. After traveling in the thunderstorm to get to the hotel, we were too exhausted to ask to move to another room. I have stayed at the Embassy suites in several cities and this is always my favorite.
