Great location for getting to NYC. Easily and fairly quickly. Absolutely wonderful to be able to park (free), leave luggage in hotel storage and hop on bus (right across street from hotel) to new York. Sure beats battling new York traffic to get to a smaller but more expensive room in the city with astronomical parking rates (if the city hotel even has on site parking). Only problems with our embassy suites experience - the carpet was filthy in our room and the noise level was very high all night. Perhaps the latter was due to our first floor location and a room choice on a higher floor may have been quieter. Don't know how to explain the carpet, though.

The hotel was clean and attractively decorated. The usual amenities were included although the "kitchen" facilities were much smaller than expected. There was very little counter space. There were two televisions that were not flat screens.

The rooms were nicely appointed, and the bedding was very nice and comfortable.

No shuttle service to LaGuardia Airport.

Embassy Suites Hotel Secaucus-Meadowlands is located seven miles from New Jersey Teterboro Airport, and 12 miles from Newark Liberty International Airport. Guests will find the nin-storey hotel modern yet welcoming, especially with a complimentary cooked-to-order breakfast, and complimentary beverages and light snacks every evening during the Managers Reception. Guests can also dine on casual Italian and American fare at Cervinos restaurant. There are other dining options located near the restaurant. The hotel is near to attractions such as the Meadowlands Racetrack; the Giants Stadium, home of the New York Giants and Jets, and the Continental Airlines Arena, home of the New Jersey Devils and New Jersey Nets. Located 10 miles from the hotel is the Statue of Liberty, Radio City Music Hall, and Madison Square Garden, home of the New York Knicks.

An NJ Transit System bus stopping across the street from the hotel brings guests to New York City, stopping at the New York City Pork Authority terminal near Times Square. Staffs are courteous and attentive, rooms are clean with comfortable beds, and the surrounding area of the hotel is peaceful.
