Comfort Suites Newark is located in the Essex County seat near many government offices and corporate headquarters. Only a short distance away are the New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC), Newark Bears Arena, and the brand new Prudential Center complex. Newark Penn Station is a short commute, and Newark Liberty International Airport is about 4 miles down the road. This hotel is also very close to NJIT, Rutgers University, and UMDNJ. Newark is centrally located, though a car is recommended to get the most out of your stay. Getting to New York City is quick, cheap, and simple with the Newark City Subway and PATH train service. Be careful in the area at night, though.

Comfort Suites Newark is a great stay at a good price. The rooms are really nice, and the proximity to New York City is wonderful. For business travelers, the location is a boon. Families with children have many excellent options for entertainment, including ball games and museums. This is a great stay for event ticket holders, since it's close to several major venues.
