Our stay was very pleasant. The facilities were well maintained and very comfortable. I definitely would recommend this hotel to my friends.
Nice Alternative to NY Lodging - posted on 06/05/2007
The decor was a little outdated, but I definitely like the free internet access. I arrived early and although the hotel does not offer luggage storage, I was able to check in. An excellent mid-level place to stay; many airline flight staff stay here, so that's gotta be a good sign.
Surprisingly great stay! - posted on 04/16/2007
The hotel was cheerful and clean. All of the employees were helpful. I didn't mind the parking fee since the car was looked after during the night. Great stay for the price!

great place to sleep - posted on 12/11/2006
The hotel was very nice. The room was spotless. Now, for the people that work there, well, I dont recommend asking too many questions. Since this was my first time visiting New Jersey I needed directions. Every time I called to ask something, I felt like my call was bothersome. The breakfast was a great deal and good food, but the service left me wanting more. I still reccomend staying there, as long as you're prepared to take short answers to your questions.

Waited for over an hour for airport shuttle. Many other hotel shuttles paid 3 visits to airport while we waited for H.Inn shuttle. Shuttle loaded to very dangerous over capacity. All seats used as well as jam packed with people standing..bus swayed taking corners, springs obviously flatted.

Shuttle service to airport, extremely slow. Does not come close to running every 20 minutes. Allow for 35-40 minutes at this location. Non-smoking room smelled of smoke. However, room was clean and comfortable. Resteraunts were very good.
A++ hotel - posted on 09/23/2006
With all of our business to be in Manhattan, we were hesitant to stay on the NJ side because of the driving hassle. But we were absolute blown away with the quality of this hotel for a $* room, considering the NY hotels started in the $200s. Room service arrived in 15 minutes, the hotel restaurant was very good food, the front desk staff were attentive, it was clean & elegant - plus the fitness room was awesome. Our whole crew felt the same way. Obviously, I can't say enough good things - we'd stay here again and highly recommend.

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. I arrived by airport shuttle which was convenient. The workout room had a lot of good equipment and it was well maintained. There was a lounge-type room with computers for public use so I could check my email.
Great Experience in Newark, NJ - posted on 04/24/2006
The Holiday Inn at Newark Airport has by far been one of the best hotels I have stayed at in years. The Service was beyond excellent. The Staff is friendly and was very accommodating when we asked if we could check in 3 hours early. Great job! I will be back!
Parking fee - posted on 12/19/2005
Having to pay a parking fee will prevent me from ever staying at this hotel again.
Will not be comming back - posted on 11/04/2005
After getting the wrong directions twice from the staff it took 2 hours to find the hotel. This Hotel is in the worst location I have ever seen. The shower was horrable because there was no pressure, the water just came out in a trickle. The bed was hard as a rock and it smelled like mold. I was not satisfied at all.

Very clean and pleasant environment. Quite unexpected for an airport area. Pub food was good. The service was pleasant and prompt. Location was easily accessible to major roads. Would definitely go there again.
Hard To Get To - posted on 08/28/2005
Unless you really know the lay of the land, don't book here. Even with a manager talking to us on a cell phone we had a tough time finding this place. Got lost in downtown Newark. Not good.
