Excellent Hotel - posted on 03/22/2007
This hotel was phenomenal. Great price, 20 minutes and your in NYC but best of all, the rooms are immaculate. Very friendly staff. Shuttle leaves ever 1/2 hour to Newark Airport. The first floor connects to a great pizza shop and many coffeeshops. If you like to workout, you have access to the New York Sport Club which is HUGE! They have every piece of equipment made along with pilates, kickboxing and yoga classes, etc. Fantastic hotel/amenities.

This hotel has a great location - it is connected to Newark Penn Station. You avoid the traffic and price of staying in NYC. The rooms are clean and beautiful. You have access to working out at the NY Sports Club which is HUGE! -- Excellent gym. Do not hesitate to stay here. The lobby connects to a corridor which has many coffee shops, banks and a fantastic pizza shop which sells by the slice. Very friendly hotel staff and the beds are to die for! The sheets/mattress/pillows are exquisite!!!

I stayed for a weekend of exploring NYC. Half the price of NYC except it was clean and spacious. 30-45min to NYC via PATH trains for $1.50 one way. $2.00 to transfer to the NYC subways and the rest of Manhattan. Only downside is if your a shop-aholic, it's kinda far to go drop off your loot mid day. I like the people watching in the subway though. Typical surley east coast service but I'd stay again.

Hotel location was great, across from Penn Station. $7 roundtrip to NYC on train. Staff friendly, rooms clean and with nice amenities. Housekeeping left our room door propped open with latch. Would stay here again.

Stayed there w/ daughter for her 18th b-day. Took train to Manhattan for $7 and saved big $ over NYC hotels. Very comfortable beds, very clean, front desk & bellman very professional. Trains not crowded, and reliable

You'd think a hotel with the Hilton name would live up to it, but don't be fooled. It is close to Penn station but that is the only plus. Staff customer service (or lack of), rooms & restaurant will leave you wondering why you're paying them
