The main restaurant was closed and I counted on that. Otherwise, after an unpleasant start with a rude desk clerk the stay was good. A manger took over the next day and did what he could to undo the night before reception. It was unfair that YOU booked me in a hotel where the main restaurant was not operating all weekend.

Other than the bed, which met star wood standards, the hotel in overall has an old aspect. The furniture in the bathroom looked old and scraped. It's really difficult to get to the hotel from the airport if you are driving. Internet services were not working in 2 days I was there. And since they have the service contracted with an external company, they could not help you at the hotel. Food was surprisingly good.

It has a shuttle to Newark.

Everything in the room is old.

Sheraton Newark Airport Hotel is located near to the Newark Liberty International Airport. This modern property offers fine steaks and chops with cognacs, ports and table-side prepared desserts at Zachs Steakhouse. Casual fare with wine and desserts are available at Bistro 128, from Breakfast through to late night. The Atrium Lobby Bar and the Trophies Lounge are convenient meeting spots over a range of beverages and a game of pool. Staffs are friendly and attentive; the spacious rooms are clean, comfortable and provide a quiet retreat. There is a regular train that runs between the NYC and New Jersey Penn stations. Do enquire at the hotel about their complimentary airport transportation, available during designated hours. Zachs Steakhouse will be closed until further notice from the hotel, while the club lounge is closed on Friday evenings, and all day on Saturdays and Sundays.
