The Courtyard by Marriott Jersey City is a flexible hotel for leisure and business travelers of all kinds. With a nice view of Manhattan and the PATH subway system next door a very convenient and economical option for New York travelers.

Great hotel and a fabulous location. Next door to path rail and across the street from and mall. My teenage daughter was in heaven.

Located right next to the PATH rail station into downtown New York City, Courtyard Jersey City Newport is an alternative to costly hotels in Manhattan proper. Jersey City has a vast public transportation system, and is within minutes of most of the Big Apple. Jersey City itself is close to shopping, international cuisine, and fun nightlife. There's much for families to do, including Liberty Science Center and the Statue of Liberty at Liberty State Park. Walk by the adjacent waterfront area, or go wander around Newport Center Mall. There's no on-site restaurant, but there is a prepared-to-order breakfast spread every morning available for an additional fee. The hotel also offers a fitness studio.

The Courtyard Jersey City Newport is a great value for the location, but may fall short on luxury and trappings. However, this hotel is much cheaper, and closer, to many New York City attractions than many comparable accommodations in Manhattan itself, so it's worth checking out. The large rooms make it good for families and those who wish to save money by using a rollaway or sofa bed. No car is necessary in this area, although it's fine to have one. This is a good hotel that will suit most routine travelers.
