Econo Lodge Newark International Airport is an easy option for a cheap stay near New York City. Located near the Prudential Center, New Jersey Performing Arts Center, and Jersey Gardens outlet mall, the surroundings aren't much to write home about. Close to several major highways, the Big Apple and other tourist points are only a short ride away. Family amusement is close at hand with Liberty Science Center and a huge Toys R Us nearby. Have some good eats at the brand new Perkins Family Restaurant and Bakery, attached to the hotel.

The Newark Liberty International Airport Econo Lodge is a bad deal. There are few amenities, no Internet, and few services. The location is a plus out of many minuses.
