Located along the southern tip of the casinos that fill Atlantic City lies the impressive Tropicana Casino Resort. Whether you are interested in Blackjack, Craps, Poker or slots, this casino has got you covered. Those interested in seeing what else Atlantic City has to offer will enjoy staying here as well. The Tropicana is a beachfront hotel, which means you can loll around in the surf all day long. Plus, it is close to many wonderful attractions including Ripley’s Believe it or Not, Central Square, Absecon Lighthouse and Ocean One Pier. The highlight for many guests though is the fabulous Quarter where shops and restaurants abound.
Does HotelsByCity recommend this hotel?
The Tropicana Casino Resort has a lot to offer its guests. There is the beach, indoor and outdoor pools, great gambling and of course, the Quarter. However, there were a number of complaints about the service as well as the lack of basic room amenities. The fact that there wasn’t a safe in the room at a gambling establishment does seem to be a bit off. The common thread was that the Tropicana was a great place to visit, but not necessarily the best place to stay. It would be worth it if you could get a decent rate. Otherwise you might want to look elsewhere. Read our customer reviews?
There are a number of towers for you to choose from. Whether you stay in the North Tower, South Tower, West Tower or the Havana Tower you will sleep well in these fantastic accommodations. Each room features in-room movies, video games, complimentary toiletries and 24-hour room service. The blackout drapes come in handy for those extra late nights.
Can’t seem to get away from the office? The business center has a number of available services. Or forget about work and spend a day at the bluemercury spa. Stay fit at the gym or swim a couple of laps in the indoor pool (located in the South Tower). Spend a day at the beach and rent your very own cabana. Or, lounge around at the North Tower’s outdoor pool. And then there’s the casino where the options are truly endless. The Quarter is another highlight. Step into old Havana and discover the fantastic restaurants and shops. The Tropicana also has great entertainment to help round out your Atlantic City experience.
