I was not as pleased with previous stays. Usually a pleasant stay, but this time was next to crying baby. They sent a staff member to inquire why we were still in our room, because they did not check to see we had booked a second night thru the hotel directly. Had to go to desk and get another room key for the second night.

Convenient restaurants.

Noisy neighbors.

Nice hotel but was disappointed that it was not part of the main casino. Had to walk in the elements to get to the main towers. Indoor pool was in main hotel, room service times were limited whereas they were 24hrs in the main hotel.

Close too many activities and casinos.

Parking was poor.

For the price, the room was great. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Staff was very friendly, upgraded our room for free.

Bathroom is dated, floor wasn't clean.

A family-owned casino resort, John Ascuagas Nugget started out as a café armed with a couple of slot machines but by 1955, it was reconstructed into one of the best casino resorts in Nevada. With stunning views of the cityscape and modern interiors to boot, the hotel is the epitome of sophistication in the streets of Sparks and with its reputation in the hospitality industry established; tourists flock to the place year after year. Its sun decks, sliding glass roof panels that cover its atrium pool, entertainment facilities and great service make the Nugget in Sparks the Nugget to go to.

This hotel is amazing. The main floor consists of 8 restaurants and the hotel offers over a thousand rooms and suites. All of these rooms have a wonderful view of the city and boast the most luxurious of amenities. The casino itself is just the tip of the iceberg because the hotels atrium boasts two sparkling pools, a full-service spa and a topnotch fitness facility. On top of all these, the service is great.
