Customer Reviews for Reno Travelodge & Suites Airport

Nice for the money - posted on 03/23/2007

Pictures on line are accurate. Roon was neat and clean. Exterior staircase could have been little cleaner, but not that bad. Nice pool and indoor jacuzzi. Desk clerk was a little annoying regarding early check in, but not a big deal. Hotel is in a rather low rent area though and has a car dealership lot on the back side and some old run down houses across the street. Parking was a problem after returning to the hotel late in the evening. Good deal for the price. Would stay there again.

This place is not clean. Everything smells like a smoke. No jacuzzi/sauna broken I guess. Rude staff. Breakfast a joke. Mold in bathroom, floors not washed in rooms.

The room was totally disgusting. It looked like it wasn't cleaned. The bed sunk in. There was a cigarette burn through the bedding. Plus you couldn't check in until exactly three. I would never go there again.

Good for Nothing - posted on 09/11/2006

Forget staying at this hotel! We would have canceled, payed the room anyway except we could't find other accommadations. Management was rude, would not allow check-in though rooms were ready. This was before we even saw the room!!!

Quiet hotel need remodel - posted on 08/16/2006

It was quiet, and away from casinos. A bit worn out, in need of a remodel.

Even though we had a non-smoking room everything smelled of smoke. The air cond was falling out of the wall, there were patches everywhere.

I requested to be changed to a non smoking room 3 wks before we arrived and they said it was done.. This was not done. There were 3 light fixtures that were broken. The front of the air conditioner and the knob were laying on the carpet. We asked to switch rooms, they said there were No Rooms availble, therefore we switched hotels and we could not get a refund.Sorry we will not go back to the Travelodge.

The Hotel Staff was friendly and efficient. The rooms were clean but a little run down. The neighborhood did not seem the best area for a hotel.

I will never stay here again - posted on 06/03/2006

As a pilot I travel a lot and this hotel has the distinction of being hands down the worst kept and run of any I've ever stayed in. The room was dirty, a/c didn't work, no remote for the tv and the bed sloped and was very unconfortable. The public areas were no better. And finally the continental breakfast was out of every thing by 8 AM, though I probably wouldn't eat anything here anyway.

Not a good experience - posted on 05/02/2006

Our room was connected to the front desk via a door and it was very noisy. The air conditioner rattled and was noisy. There was no remote control for the TV. We asked to be moved and no one even made a note of the request. There was not enough parking for the guests even though a large portion came in on a bus. We had to park more than a block away on the street. This was not a pleasant experience. When we relayed things to the front desk at check out we got the feeling she just wanted us to GET OUT!

Do Not Stay Here - posted on 03/21/2006

Hotel was dirty and run down and had unsavory types in and out. It is unsafe to stay here by yourself and unsafe to leave your vehicle.

Terrible - posted on 01/25/2006

The staff didn't have a clue what they were doing and the facility was terrible. Besides being dirty, an example was the air conditioning/heating unit which had no interior covering - as though someone had ripped it off, exposing the entire inside of the machine to the room.

Breakfast bar needs substantial upgrading. The wireless internet did not work during my stay. Hallways were dark and dreary.

Worst Experience Ever - posted on 09/23/2005

Dear Hotels By City, The stay at the Reno Travel Lodge / Suites Airport Hotel was by far ,the worst experience at a Hotel stay. My friend and left our room to go down town at about 12:00am and returned back to our room at around 10:30pm - 11:00pm finding our door card key did not open our room. The front desk informed us that our belongings were removed from our room and placed in garbage bags, stating we had only booked for one night. The Hotel had a cell phone contact number but did NOT call us to inform us of the problem. Our reservation was paid ahead for two nights and we asked for a room with microwave and refrigerator, which we had. After seeing the so called booking fax from your service just showing one nightI presented our e-mail conformation AGAIN with two nights showing. After some negotiating we were put into a Substandard Handicapped Room No refrigerator and no microwave. I paid cash out of my pocket for the second night, and NOW I am having probvlems with compansation for our situation. In our opinion 50% of one night for our suffering in NO WAY to run a bussiness or treat customers. This is all the Corporate Headquarters of Travel Lodge is will in to compensate us for our stressfuul stay at the Reno Travel Lodge / Airport Suites. I am still working on the situation because after waiting the 7 days for them to research .their part I received NO call about my refund SO I had to once again call the Guest Relations at Travel Lodge and try again. SO I AM NOT IN ANY WAY SATISIFIED WITH MY STAY AT THE RENO TRAVEL LODGE AND WOULD NOT EVER STAY THERE ,AGAIN NOR WOULD I ,RECOMMEND THE HOTEL CHAIN TO ANYONE. Our stay was over the Labor Day Holiday and if it had been a less busy time of ,year I would have moved to another Hotel. Your portion seems fine except you don't help me with my situation but say you have to deal with the Hotel Chain. A Very Dis Satisfied Customer. CarolAnn

Very bad room - posted on 02/15/2005

Stayed here for one night (flight out of Reno Airport) was not happy. Asked for a non-smoking room and lets just say when I left I smelled as if I had smoked 15 packs and the window was broken and the air conditioner was broken....front desk not very helpful. Would sleep in my car before staying here again.

Lousy Service - posted on 10/12/2004

After prepaying for three days, we left after two, as we couldn't stand another nights. Service staff on desk were very unfriendly; water for showers was cold; parking was too cramped to ensure safety of vehicles; barking dogs left in rooms alone. Continental breakfast unappetising. HARD beds and stingy on towels.
