About the Marriott Vacation Club

Marriott's Grand Chateau is a luxury timeshare resort located one block from the famed Las Vegas strip and two miles from the Las Vegas Convention Center. The non-smoking property is on 38 floors and has 348 rooms and 203 suites. The property is still under construction and it is designed in French countryside style. The property is well suited for longer stays and the larger suites are capable of accommodating ten people. Items included with the room rate are parking and a morning newspaper delivered to your room. Marriott warns that some of the features and amenities are subject to change since construction on the second tower will not be completed until 2016.

This Marriott property oozes luxury and makes for a memorable stay in the Las Vegas area. The property is under construction until 2016. Those who were concerned about the noise and dust said it was not the problem they had feared. The completed tower is operational and the construction was evident but did not spoil their stay. Marriott Vacation Club Accommodations

The suites have separate living and dining areas and a complete kitchen that includes a stove, microwave oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, clothes washer and dryer and all utensils and silverware. Other amenities include high-speed Internet access, a 40-inch plasma television with cable channels, CD and DVD player, spacious bathroom with hairdryer and separate shower and telephones with voicemail.

Amenities offered

The resort has a heated pool and spa tub set on a deck with great views of the Las Vegas Strip. There is a fitness center and a children’s play area with video games and air hockey. The 24-hour front desk has safe deposit boxes and information on events and shows in Las Vegas. There are no restaurants at the resort but there are numerous places to eat – and gamble – nearby. Other amenities include laundry and dry cleaning services, a gift shop, ATM, and a grocery shopping service.

From Las Vegas Airport (LAS) 3.5 miles: Departing southeast, follow Departing Flights sign, which becomes Terminals sign. Turn slight left onto Russell Rd. Turn left to take ramp to Swenson St/Tropicana Ave/Departing Flights. Merge onto Paradise Rd. Follow Paradise Rd onto Swenson St. Turn left onto Tropicana Ave and proceed west to Koval. Turn right onto Koval and continue north to Harmon Ave. Make a left on Harmon and go to the second light. Turn left onto the access road. Marriott s Grand Chateau is on the left hand side.
