This hotel was very classy, with great staff and a convenient location. The hotel was renovating which resulted in no hot breakfast but they provided breakfasts in grab and go bags. The fitness room was good, and very busy. Free wireless internet would have been a huge plus if offered.

I liked the spacious rooms and the fully stocked kitchen.

I did not like the pillows they were very uncomfortable.

It looks very good now that it remodeled. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and family.

It was convenient because it was close to the strip but it was not as busy and loud like other hotels.

They gave my fianc?e the wrong key to the room at 11 p.m. and ended up sleeping somewhere else. Also, checking in was a bad experience.

The Desert Rose Resort, one block from the famous Las Vegas Strip, is situated on Duke Ellington Way. Conveniently located resort is within comfortable walking distance of Lion Exhibit at MGM Grand, Gameworks Arcade, The Manhattan Express at New York-New York, Tournament of the kings Dinner Show at The Excalibur, Shark Reef at Mandalay, Lance Burton Magic Show at The Monte Carlo, casinos and shopping venues. The hotel, a 10-minute drive from McCarran International Airport, provides roomy suites with full-kitchens and other standard amenities. There is a huge outdoor swimming pool to relax and have fun in leisure.

This no-frills hotel in prime location is an ideal choice for family travelers. Most of the visitors appreciated nice rooms with comfy beds, cleanliness, proximity to the Strip, and warm and amenable staff. However, many of them were unhappy with minimal complimentary continental breakfast and poor service in breakfast room. A few visitors were also disappointed with mal-functioning amenities in shabby rooms.
