BEST EVER STAY!!! - posted on 08/26/2005

I had the best experience here. First, the check-in people upgraded our room for free! The hotel is beautiful the moment you walk into it. The rooms are HUGE and the beds are heavenly! The service is great and amenities are great! The pool is HUGE and very clean. Overall great experience!

Steve Wynn Did it Right! - posted on 01/04/2006

Saved money all year long to stay in South Tower Suite for four nites - WOW - worth every penny. Private entrance and lobby, private elevators - treated like Rock Stars and we're definitely not! Best buffet in town - Bed was so comfortable it was hard to get up - total luxury all the way around. Flat screen TV in huge bathroom and bedroom. Can't wait to get back - if you can swing it - stay in South Tower - you won't be sorry!

Service? - posted on 07/26/2005

This hotel is beautiful but the service and food are substandard. I was disappointed. From the moment you arrive their is virtually no one to assist you, where is the doorman? The rooms are very nice and larger than expected. But don't ask the housekeeper to come back, she won't. Also, they charge for everything! If you pay $10 for a drink I don't think you should have to pay for the nuts at the bar too. I had room service and two restaurant meals. The food is very expensive and not very good.

Not impressed at all - posted on 05/28/2007

I had stayed at the Venetian the year before and I found it to be far better than the Wynn. Everyone at the Wynn was ultra-snobby and they DO NOT cater to the average person. For the money paid, it was definitely NOT worth it.

only good if your snobby and have money - posted on 04/22/2007

1st room we were given was dirty water stains in front of the toilet. Got another room walked in and slide across the room and almost fell on the floor because it was still wet. The maid manager came up she notice that there were several items not in the room. The mini bar was used. A/C broken in room. Day 2 no toilet paper or the toiletries. The casino staff was very rude and would ignore you when you were talking to them. This hotel is full of snobby or foreign people who they will cater to, forget about the average person.

Win at the Wynn - posted on 04/10/2007

The Wynn is an excellent hotel to stay at. It compares to the Venitian and the Bellagio in Class and service. A few small negative notes. One, it took over 3 hours and a second phone call to get a roll-a-way bed send to the room but that was all. Two, the pool was smaller than expected and not very spacious. I had to "reserve" chairs at 8:30am in order to get good seats (not paying the $400.00 for the cabana). All in all, hotel was great and I would recommend it. Stay tuned the "Encore at the Wynn" is under construction and should be even better.

Wynn Visit - posted on 04/09/2007

The rooms were nothing special. The bathroom was superb. The food selection at the buffet left something to desire. We were totally disappointed. If you like seafood, go for it but for me (No way)- For the price? Never again!!! Bellagio again for me next time!!

The Wynn is nice but quite ordinary, at least in the rooms available to people on package deals. Comfortable and friendly, but not special compared to cost.

2nd visit to Vegas in 2006. Stayed at Ceaser's first time (4-2006) and it was very nice. the Wynn is a cut above that and more. Great rooms, good food and good slot machines. The grounds and pool area were beautiful. Can't wait to go back!

My husband and I are avid travelers and "service junkies". We found everyone on staff to be committed to the guest experience. Concierge put us on the VIP for Tryst and comped us. Otherwise it is near impossible to get in. Restaurants...great. Rooms...clean and modern. Great view of the strip.

Wynn - Beautiful but... - posted on 04/03/2007

Room was absolutely beautiful and quiet but why would they go cheap with the appliances, the hairdryer was broken and the ironing board fell apart - we phoned for a new one and didn't get it until the second request. Dinner at Daniel Boulud sucked - don't waste your money - service was awful - the hostess was actually rude and the food was just weird- and I like weird food.

Relax in Vegas - posted on 04/01/2007

First time to Wynn with stay of 3 nights. Not gamblers and been to Vegas many times staying at different Hotels. We love the room's size, bed and view. Most important for us, noise level very low inside room so you can really sleep in. Wynn was able to provide relaxing and luxuary feel. Also love the pool area with those private rental cabana. It would be nice if they don't charge so much for them. Restaurant kind of pricy and receptionist service so so. The show is good. This hotel is one I will defintely come back.

The Wynn Las Vegas is the perfect hotel. The service, the food, the rooms, the heavenly bed and pillows, the silky terry cloth lined bathrobes, the Desert Bambu toiletries... I could go on forever. This made my first Las Vegas experience unforgettable. The Wynn is an oasis in the busy crowded Las Vegas experience. The view we had was stunning (55th floor)... the comp meals at the buffet were fabulous. The conference space and catering staff is phenomenal. The Wynn experience was everything I could have hoped for in a hotel and so much more.

disappointed - posted on 03/18/2007

There were too many things that made me feel like this was far from a 5-star stay. The cleanliness of the room was something I would never have expected: the stained furniture and the unwashed windows (being such a 'selling point' too!). Out of 5 complaints on the first day of my stay, only one recieved a response. The shower didn't drain. The serving tray was sticky. The bathtub had hair in it. The remote didn't work. The room was not serviced until after 8pm. Not worth the price of a 5-star. Won't be back, and won't recommend.

Wonderful! - posted on 03/11/2007

Even though this hotel is a bit pricey, though not as pricey as Bellagio we were thrilled with the standard room. The view was wonderful we had a full moon during our stay which made it even more beautiful. (I wonder how they arranged that?) The Japanese resturant was some of the best sushi we have had. The food in the cafe and room service was yummy. All of the staff was pleasent and helpful all the time. We were very dissapointed about the Casino which was small with very little variety. We spent our time in other Casinos. We would stay here again, it is too good not to.

The rooms were very comfortable, luxurious and clean (get one with a view to the strip), don't pay for the extremely overpriced buffet ($39 for breakfast!!), use your casino card/room key when you gamble and is very easy to get several comp'd buffets.

Tried the new Wynn because of all of the publicity. The Hotel at Mandalay Bay and the Bellagio are much superior. The Wynn is over-hyped and while it is very nice, it is not the superior place that it is supposed to be. Suite area is nice, but regular rooms are like any major hotel on the strip.

First time to Vegas, and the Wynn was amazing. The rooms were great, and the beds even better. Our host was great he did anything we asked even helped us get into clubs at other hotels, and had car to take us there. SW Steakhouse was one of the best steaks I have ever had. Limo to and from the Airport. Everything was great. Best place in Vegas.

My wife and I visited the Wynn October 2006. We experienced the shows, the food, and got a behind the scene tour. We stay for 3 days and 2 nights. Loved the hotel because it is new. Did not play golf - 500 a pop was not justifiable since it is not St. Andrews. Concierge helpful in making tee times, helicopter trips, show & dinner reservations. Shopping was good. Dinner at Alex was excellent. Le Reve was a good show if you still don't mind the esoteric French Canadian Circus. Housekeeping was substandard. Even when called - during the day - they would not come. Hotel wound up taking 200 off one of the nights to make it up to us. Husband was partially satisfied.

Disappointing Service for the Price - posted on 01/10/2007

Have stayed at the Bellagio and the Wynn in Vegas - would never go back to the Wynn. For the price, the service across the board was subpar - casino, bars, restaurants, front desk, etc. I spent an hour at one blackjack table and never even saw a cocktail waitress - and I only wanted water! Another person at the same table actually asked 3X for one to come by, and no one ever came by!

The worst in Las Vegas - posted on 10/31/2006

Called well before getting into Las Vegas and was told by host that I would be in a salon suite on and RFB based on my play. Arrange a credit line for me and my wife sets one up as well. Combined we have $100K to play with on our 3 day stay not whales but we're there to gamble not to see the pirates at Treasure Island. We're real players not there to see shows. Casino says $500 a hand at 6 hours a day is not good enough play for RFB

My wife's first trip to Vegas, and the Wynn helped impress her. Room was great, bed was awesome, GREAT view, we were on the north side way up, had a great view of T.I., strip, etc. Food was great, wish the Ferrari dealership didn't charge $10pp just to enter. Maid service visited our room 2x/day so maybe they are listening to the reviews?

GREAT HOTEL BUT WITH A BIG PRICE - posted on 01/01/2006

Received babysitting services for the kids. Room was nice. Great view...Wished there were 2 queens vs. only 2 doubles. Bar by the waterfall was really nice at nighttime. Drank champagne there then went to the "ultra lounge"...Ordered same champagne there as at the other lounge...was told it was 3 times the price. SW steakhouse wasn't great. Lots of staff but seemed very chaoitic. Plus, you have to order all the extras separately...Would come back...maybe for a special occasion.

I didn't stay in this hotel, just going for the buffet. When i step in to the lobby from the parking lot with my baby in the stroller, the security come up and say "NO STROOLER". There are two more family at my back with strollers and we are so shock and have to return the stroller back to the car and hold the baby for the entire lining up about an hour for the buffet. Is rideculus! Buffet is not bad, but better go with only adult.

I travel alot to Vegas and I was completely spoiled by this hotel. The hotel is across the street from the Fashion Show Mall, my favorite mall for shopping. The food was fabulous. No Winning at Wynn!! - posted on 08/20/2005

The Wynn is beautiful, but very expensive. Usually in Vegas, the rooms are great and the dining is reasonable, or visa versa. In this case neither was a Wynn. The food was ok, and not what one would expect for the price. Although the gaming room was beautiful, the slots were TIGHT. Drinks were watered down!! However, the place was beautiful.

Needs time to work out the bumps - posted on 08/11/2005

This hotel is VERY hyped up. First if your room is facing the front you will have a terrible view of the roof, HVAC. The rooms were beautiful until you look at the Warholesc paintings on the wall and wish that they came with darkening shades. hey its Vegas who sleeps here!? Gateway TVs are awesome!! Two flatscreens! The staff were all great once we arrived, although they were short handed. If you turn away the maid she will not return. Cabanas are wonderful and have a flatscreen tv, only outdone by the cabana boys who were EXCELLENT!

Just got back from a 5-day stay at this beautiful hotel. Brand new everything! Friendly staff! Food was fabulous. The buffet is to die for! Spa was wonderful!! My only complaint was that there appeared to be very little, if any, A/C in the elevators. Can get uncomfortable quickl! I did alot of research before staying here. The other hotels were exquisite when seeing shows and visiting. But, they are very, very big and lots of walking going on to get anyplace in those hotels. This hotel is big, but laid out better!
