The 142-room Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott Las Vegas South provides affordable accommodation for both the business and leisure travel and is located a half mile from the popular south end of the Las Vegas Strip. The four-story, non-smoking hotel provides a free shuttle to the MGM Grand and Mandalay Bay Convention Center. Other items included in the room rate are high-speed Internet access, a hot breakfast buffet, local telephone calls, a morning newspaper, parking and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. There is a boardroom available for business or social events that can accommodate eight guests. Area attractions away from the casinos and shows include Hoover Dam, the University of Las Vegas, Lake Mead and Red Rock Canyon.

All the guestrooms, and 76 suites, have a well-lit work desk, television with cable movie and news channels and pay-per-view movies, in-room safe, pullout sofa bed, alarm clock, tea and coffee making facilities, iron and ironing board, hairdryer and telephone with voicemail.

This inn has an outdoor heated swimming pool, whirlpool and a fitness center. The complimentary breakfast, with the Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwich, is the only meal served here. There several place to places to eat nearby including the Gordon Biersch and a PF Chang’s China Bistro. The 24-hour front desk has safe deposit boxes, information on the Las Vegas shows and attractions and a list of restaurants that will deliver to the hotel. Other amenities include a business center, a coin-operated laundry, valet dry-cleaning and vending machines.
