The Wyndham Grand Desert Resort, formerly the Fairfield Grand Desert Resort, is a timeshare property, providing quality apartments ideally suited for family vacations. There are 100 one and two-bedroom fully equipped suites. The resort is within walking distance of the famed Las Vegas Strip and three miles from McCarran International Airport. Items included with the rates are high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, parking and a shuttle to nearby hotels, restaurants and stores. The resort is one mile from the University of Las Vegas, four miles from the Las Vegas Convention Center and 30 miles from the Hoover Dam. There are four golf courses a short drive from the property.

Families loved this resort. There were many activities for younger members of the family to enjoy and the well-equipped kitchens enabled meals in the suite, which saved the cost of dining out. There was a free shuttle to take you food shopping. Many families say they will return to this resort. Some bought a timeshare during their visit so they will certainly return. Fairfield Grand Desert Resort Accommodations

Suites at this Mediterranean-style resort have a kitchen with full-size refrigerator, microwave oven and a washer-dryer. Other amenities include cable television with news and movie channels, work desk with Internet access, two telephones with voicemail, alarm clock, tea and coffee making facilities and a hairdryer.

There is a delicatessen and lounge on-site and numerous restaurants within walking distance of the property. Other amenities include a 24-hour front desk, tour desk with information on the latest Las Vegas shows, vending machines and copy and fax services. The property offers aerobics classes and bingo games.
