Unbelievable service - posted on 12/13/2005

My first stay but not my first visit to Las Vegas. I will stay here again and again. I was treated like a queen. Excellent Partial Lakeview room on 26 floor. Management sent me a complimentary fruit bowl (it was my birthday). Excellent everything at this hotel. But OK the price of the food at any of the restaurants is over the top, but the rest of the amenities make up for it. I love this hotel!

The prices are a bit expensive, but can be considerably lowered if you get rated in the casino/poker room after about 20 hours of play. Rooms are top-notch; some of the nicest in Vegas, as long as you are willing to pay for a view. No wireless internet is a problem; bring an ethernet cable or you'll pay $11 for one. Also, the bell hops won't call you a cab on check out -- you have to stand in the general line unless you are willing to store your bags with them. An annoyance when you are running late for the airport.

Stayed here 11/2005 and 02/2006 and had a wonderful experience both times. Deluxe Lakeview room both times on upper floors was well worth the extra $50. Not a single complaint about anything thus far - staff treated us like royalty. Food prices can be a bit high. The Bellagio is our new Las Vegas home whenever we visit from now on.

Weekend before Christmas had excellent service and got discounted room upgrade to full-fountain view on 20th floor - well worth it! Service above/beyond expectations; room and hotel just beautiful, and beds were fantastic - really! Each room has electronic draperies and fountain-coordinated music on TV with turn-down service. Needs more "reasonably" priced dining options, but you can always go off property to find that. Repeat Vegas visitors should definitely stay here at least once - you don't want to miss it. Viva Las Vegas!

From the moment you arrive at check-in until you say good bye, everyone treats you like royalty. There is a feeling that you know you have chosen the finest hotel resort on the strip. A romantic getaway, even in our jeans, sneaks and shorts - especially watching the fountains & eating Gelato Our standard room was elegant, squeaky clean and appropriately decorated with twice daily maid service. urants. The hotel has the best location on the strip for walking. The only downside it attracts so many outside visitors walking around. We will definitely be back next year!

Stayed at many hotels around the world, not a gambler, 3 times at Bellagio, once in standard room. Suites rather expensive, rather small, nicely furnished, bedding is very good, service overall - o.k. Standard rooms - overpriced, very small, service is a nightmare! Rude and crude, cannot understand why the same guest is treated differently depending what room they stay in. Very low class and snoby way of doing business.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay thoroughly. The room was quite nice, overlooking the lake with a nice view of the "Eiffel Tower." We were most impressed with the friendliness and service of the staff. We were especially impressed by X at the check-in counter. She immediately made us feel welcomed in this elegant hotel...a good way to start a vacation.

My husband and I were extremely impressed with The Bellagio. It is beautiful both inside and out. The beds are very comfortable and the room was clean and well-maintained. We've stayed at many upscale hotels and this was among the best. There were two small disappointments, though. The lines for check-in and concierge were very long and confusing. Also, we thought it would be nice if guests could get priority seating for the restaurants/buffet. We highly recommend The Bellagio.

One of the best in Vegas... - posted on 04/11/2007

From the helpful staff to the large, well appointed rooms, Bellagio is still the class of Vegas. The casino may be slightly stuffy and the restauarants may not be the absolute best (we found Venetian's restaurants slightly better), but for quality of rooms and luxury, Bellagio can't be beat.

At check in we had to wait for a room. When we got a room the keys did not work and the second set did not work. They did not offer any comps for the inconvenience of having to walk back and forth and try to get someones attention behind the counter. The manager was back there but just kept his head down and never looked up. The overall end result was disappointing in that the hotel never acknowledged the hassle of dragging our bags around and the inconvenience of dealing with the busy check-in desk more than once.

Our stay was hassle-free. There was a lot of walking, as this is a huge hotel, but it helped walk off the great meals we had at their buffet and (Olives) restaurant. Spent 4 nights in January. Hotel was super crowded (big convention in town), paid almost $400/night (no breakfast included). As many times as we have gone to Las Vegas we never stayed at the Bellagio so decided to give it a try. The hotel staff tries very hard to accomodate your every need and are very professional. However the rooms (we upgraded to lakefront) are small and are showing some wear. The carpet was visibly worn, frayed, and dingy at the entry way. Overall a nice experience but look around as there are other places with nicer rooms and more activities in the casino. It is worth it to stay at least once at the Bellagio however.

The Bellagio is a beautiful hotel in an excellent location close to everything. I experienced 5 star service at the casino, bar and restaurants. The rooms are very spacious with top amenities. People tend to dress up in the evening at this hotel in comparison to other hotels I visited. Be sure to give yourself ample time if you need a taxi to another hotel. Beautiful hotel, but the restaurants, the cafe, room service, etc. are way overpriced. The rooms and service don't begin to make up for the fact that the food prices are sky high. The monorail that joins several of the hotels on "The Strip" doesn't run to this hotel, so you are sort of a captive audience when you want to eat. Lines for taxis are long almost all of the time, too.

Non-smoking for the whole floor I stayed was the best I enjoyed in Las Vegas, cause people smoking everywhere in Vegas which I, a New Yorker, am not used to it anymore. Casino is on the side of the hall that we did not have to walked through it everytime when we went up to our rooms; hence, avoided another smoking area. Very presentable lobby and friendly concierge. Not My Idea of a 5 Star - posted on 08/16/2006

We chose the Bellagio because it was rated 5 stars. The hotel was nice, but I've been in 4 star hotels in NY and LA and thought they were nicer. We reserved two non-smoking rooms, but only one was available when we arrived, and it was a room reserved for the handicap so it had no tub, only a large shower. Also, our room keys kept deactivating, sometimes 3 to 4 times a day. The one nice thing I can say about the hotel is the pool area. They are huge and not crowded, and the water was cold enough to swim in even during the hottest time of day.

The food was excellent quality but very expensive. There are not enough choices for something simple. I don't consider a $9.00 sandwich from one of the shops a real choice. Other hotels nearby all had food courts with large selections. You don't always want to pay $80.00 to eat.

Great quality in design and construction materials create an ambiance that takes luxury to the next level. I like the fact that It wasn't necessary to walk through the casino to get around, and the pools have easy acess from the rooms.

I have been to Vegas for the ast two years and have always stayed at the Bellagio. I will not go to Vegas and stay anywhere else, I'm afraid I will be disappointed and not enjoy myself. I felt very safe there when I was gambling alone. We will be going back this year and my husband wants to try another hotel, I WILL NOT ALLOW IT.

Stayed 4 nights in Spa tower, pool view. Did lake view several years ago, but decided to save a few bucks. Room clean, very comfortable, one light bulb burned out. Maids knocked early, but we neglected to put out "do-not-disturb" sign. Check in-check out service very friendly. Non smoking room was requested, and given. Ate at FIX..very good. "O"...very good. Too many "non-hotel guests" crowding lobby, attrium, etc. Pool area fantastic overall. Pool area could be cleaner (cups, cigarette butts, old newspapers should be frequently removed). Bellagio is a great place overall.

Had requested non-smoking room, was given a room that reeked, and told it was a "smoking optional" room. Couldn't move until the next day. No room at the pool--big area reserved for "private party." Don't even touch the mini bar unless you want to be charged!

It's worth every penny! The most beautiful hotel I have ever stayed in. You have not experienced hotel luxury until you stay in the bellagio! One problem, the mini bar in the room is motion censored if you touch anything on the bar even if you don't eat it, you will be charged. You have to leave a credit card to have access to the fridge in the room. Bathroom is excellent, bed softer than you could ever imagine!

Great hotel. We took our 16 month old and she loved it, the pool, fountains, flowers, butterflies, window displays, animals/fish at nearby hotels. When I go to Vegas with friends, I'm burned out after a couple days. However, with wife and baby, I could have stayed longer.

The Bellagio is clearly a level above the other hotels on the Strip. Our smokefree room was spacious and clean. The king-sized bed was very comfortable. The marble bathroom and glass enclosed shower were unexpected. Don't miss the gardens, fountain show or the very high end mall shops. The casino is first rate. Service was impeccable. The buffet and restaurants are excellent. In-room Internet access is via ethernet for $10.95 per 24 hours (no wireless). We plan to stay again and do not hesitate to recommend the Bellagio to all. You will not regret and never forget the Bellagio.

We just got back from our trip to Vegas, and stayed at the Bellagio. It is absolutely beautiful and stunning in its stature. There wasn''t anything that really "stood out" at the Bellagio for us. It was very large and beautifully decorated, but not anything too special that the other hotels didn't possess. If your looking for first class - this is the place, but MANY of the other hotels meet the exact same standards of excellence!

My deluxe lakeview room was worth the extra cost. My favorite attraction is the fountain show - being able to view it from above the lake was awesome. I recommend joining the Players Club - it's free and keeps you from having to wait in line to be seated at the Caf?ellagio which is open 24/7. The Conservatory and Botanical Gardens are a must see. You will love the outdoor heated pool and courtyard. Don?t forget your camera!

Hotel was nice, locationwise and the fountain outside and decoration at the entrance are very attractive. But there was no wireless highspeed internet, at the business center, they have machines you can use internet, but they even charge money for it. No indoor pool, no HBO. For $*, they don't even give you anything to welcome you in the room. No complimentary continental breakfast. The services are not great either.

I believe you pay for class and this is certaintly what you get here. The royalty service, decor and food just need to be appreciated. The quality of the buffet is also incredible. Great gaming (even though I did lose) bars and window shopping and then there are those fountains. The whole lot just has to be experienced to be believed.

We've stayed at Bellagio three times now, this was our first time with a lakeview though. It was great, but I'd save the $50 bucks and get a partial lakeview and full pool view instead. I am always most impressed by the customer service; my partner wanted a sweatshirt from the gift shop in a particular size but they were out of stock. The staff there bent over backwards to get us a sweatshirt in the proper size in 4 hours (we were leaving town).

Stayed with my mom, my partner and our 2 year old daughter. Everything was wonderful, the staff were very courteous and the food mostly good (being from Santa Cruz I'm really spoiled in the food department) Pools are amazing and our daughter loved the atrium and the glass flowered ceiling in the lobby. Not sure what all the fuss about the alleged "snobby" staff and not being child friendly. Everyone was kind to our daughter and we walked around the hotel constantly ( usually starting at 6:30 am...she's an early riser)
