Customer Reviews for Hard Rock Hotel Las Vegas

Cool, but not the best - posted on 04/22/2007

We've been to Vegas 15+ times & stayed everywhere from IP to Bellagio. Cool atmosphere, great iconic items from Beatles to Madonna, but hotel is small w/ not much to do. Had made reserv. month in adv. for Nobu (noBOOO!) for my birthday & they sat us in between 5 other wee tables, elbows touching, for my "special" dinner. They were SO rude as we nicely asked to wait for a better table, yada yada. Not happening. However, front desk was AWESOME, got us into a fantastic sushi place at Caesar's.

Horrendous service and charges for everything - posted on 04/15/2007

A bad family hotel. Hotel staff gave confusing information about the shuttle service. Minibar wasn't working, technician came only at 9pm to check. Deliver a new fridge the next day at 11.35pm!!! And wanted to charge us at checkout! Ridiculous! Tap was leaking, had to wrap towel around it. Couch was missing in room. Informed front desk but didn't do anything about it. Housekeeping didn't do a thorough job. Other lower star rating hotels that I've stayed in had better service!

Everything was great. Allowed our early check-in without hassle. The pool was awesome as were the sights. Everything about the Hard Rock makes me want to come back again!

Very enjoyable stay with Bose sound system alarm clock & flat screen tv in room. Green tea shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, and soap capped off this very clean and large standard room.

Where the Poll At? - posted on 11/22/2006

Being my first time at the Hard Rock Hotel I was happy with the room and the service. I however was unaware of how important having the pool open was in terms of atmophere in the facility.

A Short Stay Party Hotel - posted on 10/17/2006

Great hotel for a short stay and partying. I recommend staying at a hotel on the Strip for longer Vegas visits as you quickly run out of things to do in this hotel and you need a car to get to the Strip. The atmosphere and the pool are great, but the television channels are very limited and on your down time you have to watch the same sports highlights over & over and the water pressure in the shower is very low. You have to pay $20/day to use the gym and $12/day for internet access. The same music is playing all day long throughout the resort which gets tiring after a while.

Rock N ROll - posted on 10/10/2006

Did not like the "resort fee" that was tacked on to our bill. Resort fee for what? Hotel is under new managment and transportation to the strip has been discoutinued. Do not move or touch any items in your mini-bar refrigerator or you will be charged even if you don't use these items. Music and pool were awesome - Food at Mr. Lucky's was very good - be sure to ask for the $7.77 special.

We really liked our room. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was spacious and surprisingly sound proof. The hotel itself was a good size, but not overwhelming like most hotel/casinos in Vegas. Biggest complaint is they nickle and dime ya. We tried to take some beers from the market across the street up to our rooms, only to be stopped and told that it was not allowed. Barely was able to get our bottled water up. Other than that, it was pretty great. The pool is really cool, but kind of a meat market, which is great for singles I guess. Overall, we had a good time there!

hidden fees - posted on 08/04/2006

I did not appreciate the "hidden fee" factor that existed. The room was booked for three nights with payment in advance. On check out we were billed for a "resort fee." The fee was not much but it is the sort of irritating tactics that some places take of adding on little hidden costs. Why am I paying a resort fee for a hotel I have already paid for previously? It just put a blemish on what would have otherwise been a nice stay.

If you like music this hotel is outstanding. Caters more to a younger crowd, but the place is great for kids and older rock fans as well. The large rooms have a plasma TV and are very, very clean. The pool is awsome, but closes at 6 PM, way too early. It is also off the strip, so be prepared to drive if you plan to go off the property.

great time as always althought it seemed as some employees felt more empowered towards guests and rule enforcement vs. helping than usual

No Service - posted on 07/12/2006

Hotel was under staffed in the evenings at the bars. Pool bar way to small to service two pools, never could get a seat. Rooms are okay, but the walls are paper thin. Stayed at the Hard Rock in Hollywood Fl. incredible property. Very unhappy with the Vegas property.

Hard Rock Needs a Rehab - posted on 07/11/2006

I stayed here thinking it was going to be fun and upbeat. I thought the place needed a pick me up - carpet was dingy/room looked a little worn. Conceirge not too helpful; spa was excellent.

Rock Out Till Ya Knock Out - posted on 07/10/2006

This is THE place to stay. Beds are soft and plush, plasma tvs EVERYWHERE, even in the cabanas. Great rock music thunders throughout the property. Excellent sound quality. Bose stereos in the rooms...need I say more? Only downer is the hotel policy on bringing in food/beverages from outside restaurants...its not allowed. We had to sneak our bottled water in. Overall, its the only place we're staying from now on.

pool comments - posted on 07/02/2006

Pool area was nice and different from other hotels pools, but it closed early - 6 PM so after a day of being up and about you couldn't come back to the pool and cool off. Also, if you don't like continuous rock music in casino and pool area constantly this is not the place for you. We couldn't even sit in the bar area and visit as the music was too loud for us.

Rehab = Spring Break - posted on 06/06/2006

We stayed at over Memorial Day weekend. It was like MTV Spring Break. If you like that atmosphere then PARTY ON The Rehab Sunday Pool party is totally insane with wana be gate crashers. The security for this party must feel over whelmed, my sympathies to the staff. However, don't expect any special treatment if you are a hotel guest other than being given 4 passes for your room. Get up early and line up with the masses. The rooms need to be referbished starting to get worn.

Rockin'!!! - posted on 04/02/2006

We've always partied at the HR, but this was our first stay. Awesome! Nice size room, sweet flat screen tv, and the pool is the amazing. It's about a mile from the Strip, so if you plan on hanging there most of the time, this isn't the hotel for you (although there is a free hourly shuttle). But if you're looking for an escape from the throngs of old people, this IS the place to be!

A place to be cool and treated like a rock star. - posted on 03/31/2006

What a place to stay for the first time in Vegas. A little off the the beaten path of the Strip but that doesnt matter with thier very friendly (free) shuttle service during the day that takes you to other hot spots. Everyone was very cool that worked there. Don't forget to check out the Pink Taco and The 24/7 resturants (very affordable) in the hotel. Not a very big gaming casino, but made room for everything else enjoyable.

I'll be back! - posted on 02/02/2006

The Hard Rock Hotel - even though it is away from the main strip is a great place to stay. The vibe is excellent! I can not wait to go again this summer when the pool is up and running!

Perfect for 20/30 somethings - posted on 01/02/2006

This has been my best stay in Vegas ever! I have stayed at most of the nice hotels on and off of the strip and I have to say that the Hard Rock is great! My boyfriend is 30 and I am 26 and the crowd was just perfect for us. People were young, friendly, and fun. The dealers were all very nice. This is one hotel that I would definitely come back to again and again.

A Great Time at the Hard Rock! - posted on 08/11/2005

Spectacular time was had my myself and my bridemaids for my 4 day bachelorette party. Rent a cabana at the gorgeous pool to live the life of a rock star. Staff very friendly and helpful, rooms are beautiful - your own giant plasma tv! Nice place to be if you want to be away from Vegas tourists. Wish I were still there right now . . .

A BIG LET DOWN! - posted on 07/11/2005

After waiting almost a year for this vacation, and one of the things I waited for most was the stay at the Hard Rock, it was a big let down. The staff is very very rude, so much so that it really dampered the entire trip!

This hotle is a really great place to stay. from the second you walk in to the second you leave you will be surrounded in luxury, nice employees, a great casino, and food. The pool is amazing and the whole scenery is unbelievable. The hotel is about a $8 ride maxiumum to the strip. Highly recommended.

Best Hotel to Stay - posted on 01/25/2005

We arrived at the Hard Rock 4 hours before checkin and our room was already ready! Our standard room had a 50Inch Plasma flat screen TV with french doors that opened to a beautiful view of the city! The workers were energetic and acted like they loved their job. We are already planning to go back next month! There is no where else I would ever stay!!
