Loved the Residence Inn! - posted on 07/06/2005
The Residence Inn Las Vegas Hughes Center is a great place to stay. Its only ? of a mile from the Las Vegas strip which is so close to all the craziness and fun, but just far enough away to be able to relax without all the chaos and noise. I liked the free internet access, breakfast, and happy hour!

One week in particular I had meetings after meetings lined up. I was staying here and had an hour lunch break so I ran out and grabbed some take out. I wanted some peace and quiet so I took it up to my room and found out the restaurant had forgotten to provide me with napkins and utensils. I was so flustered but then realized the hotel guest rooms come with not only a full kitchen but utensils so not only was it a place to relax but stocked with everything I needed. I was even able to save what I didn?t

I loved staying at this hotel especially because of its fire place in the lobby. I don?t have a fire place at home so it was great to sit and relax by this one after a day out in the city that never sleeps. I enjoyed exploring the city, but it can be overwhelming so it was great to have a hotel so close to the main strip so I could come back, relax, and reenergize. The staff here was so accommodating to my needs and provided astounding service.

We were surprised by the size and amenities of the 'suite'. We have stayed in others that claimed to be suites but this was very nice. It had everything we needed and we will book in again for a longer stay.
Best In Vegas - posted on 05/22/2006
We stayed at Residence for 5 days. Everything was exceptional, the pool was clean and quiet, room was huge compared to most vegas rooms for atleast double the price and the free hot breakfast had anything from fresh fruit to hot waffels. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Vegas from here on out. There are about 2-3 around the strip area, I suggest staying close to the tram if you don't rent a car.

For the price of a room we got a one bedroom suite with mini kitchen. Great staff, free breakfast and good location.

The hotel overall was great. It being my family's first time in Vegas, they were happy with the hotel. The only inconvenience we had was we had to wait until 4 pm to get a room.
