The pet-friendly Residence Inn Las Vegas Convention Center comprises 192 suites equally suited to the extended stay business or leisure traveler. The two-story, non-smoking hotel is within walking distance of the Las Vegas Convention Center and the casinos, restaurants and shopping centers of the famed Las Vegas Strip. Items included with the room rate are a hot breakfast buffet, a manager’s reception on midweek evenings, high-speed Internet access, a morning newspaper, parking, local telephone calls and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. Area attractions away from the casinos and shows include the Bali Hai Golf Club, the Fashion Show Shopping Mall, Hoover Dam, the University of Las Vegas, Lake Mead and Red Rock Canyon.

This hotel gets great reviews about its spacious fully equipped suites and a crew of employees that are both efficient and friendly. Many clients said the rates were reasonable provided you made full use of the items that were included in the room rate. Business travelers were impressed with the computers and printers that were available in the lobby – both at no charge. When the paper ran out on the printer the staff happily provided more. All the suites have a kitchen with conventional oven and microwave oven, stovetop, refrigerator with icemaker, dishwasher, coffeemaker, toaster and a full set of cutlery and crockery. Other amenities include a work desk with ergonomic chair and high-speed Internet access, telephone with voicemail, pullout sofa bed, television with cable news and movie channels and pay-per-view movies, hairdryer and an iron and ironing board. Some suites have the added benefit of a fireplace.

This inn has an outdoor heated swimming pool, children’s pool and a whirlpool. Guests have the use of the exercise room at the nearby Courtyard by Marriott. The property offers a grocery shopping service. Follow onto airport connector around to Swenson Avenue. Stay in the left lane to Paradise Road. Turn right onto Paradise and proceed north for 1.5 miles. The hotel will be on the left.
