The 149-room Courtyard by Marriott Las Vegas Convention Center provides quality accommodation at an affordable price more suited to the business traveler than the pleasure-seeking tourist. The three-story non-smoking hotel is across the street from the Las Vegas Convention Center and a quarter mile from The Vegas Strip. Items included with the room rate are high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, a copy of USA Today, parking and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. There are two meeting rooms available for social or business functions. The larger can accommodate 50 guests. The hotel is two miles from the Las Vegas National Golf Course.

Frequent visitors to Las Vegas say this is a business-friendly hotel, quieter than many competing properties, with reasonable rates and a helpful and informative crew of employees. All the guestrooms, and 12 suites, have a large work desk with ergonomic chair and high-speed Internet access, refrigerator, Internet browser television with cable movie and news channels, pay-per-view movies, pullout sofa bed, alarm clock, tea and coffee making facilities, iron and ironing board, hairdryer and two-line telephone with voicemail and speakerphone.

Restaurants nearby include an Andre’s French Restaurant, Binion’s Ranch Steakhouse, Lotus of Siam, a Thai restaurant and a Morton’s of Chicago Steakhouse. The 24-hour front desk has safe deposit boxes, a list of restaurants that will deliver to the hotel and information on the Las Vegas events and attractions. Other amenities include a coin-operated laundry, business center in the lobby, valet dry-cleaning, vending machines and a gift shop and newsstand.

From McCarran International Airport (LAS) 4.5 miles: Exit airport onto Swenson Avenue. Cross over Tropicana Avenue and follow sign to Paradise Road North. Proceed onto Paradise Road for 1.5 miles north. The hotel is on the left. To enter, follow past the hotel and make a U-turn at the stop light.
