Hail, Caesar's Palace! - posted on 01/16/2006
This was not my first trip to Las Vegas, so I thought I knew what to expect. But wow!, even compared to other hotels, it was fantastic. All amenities, including multiple restaurants, lots of night life, a great spa, 4 pools, and Celine Dion or Elton John as the in house entertainment. That, plus about anything you would want to shop for or to play. And right in the middle of the Strip, so if you weren't happy there, you were only a few minutes from most other big hotels, what more could you ask for?
Must Try - posted on 05/21/2007
I thought this was a great hotel! We stayed in the Augusta Towers and wouldn't stay anywhere else. The adult pool (must be over 21) was great as well! We also could not have asked for better service! The room service was great as well!
Thank you Caesar - posted on 10/26/2005
We had the pleasure of experiencing an Agustus tower room c/w the large size, view and amenities that this tower has. It is upscale from the Palace tower and still has Caesars great service. Everyone should try this Caesars Tower. No room could be nicer.

We went to Caesars to get married. Check-in line extremely long-got in the "invited guests" line and had no problem. First room in Roman Tower was not cleaned when we arrived-had horrible view; was moved to Palace Tower with fantastic view. Rooms are nice but not overdone like I expected. Pillows are horrible. Great bathroom. Room service takes approx. 45 minutes. Large casinos but easy to navigate after a day or two. Quick valet. Great buffet/restaurants. Staff very accommodating when needed. Had a fabulous wedding with the help of their wedding & catering departments. Had a blast!
What a great time! - posted on 05/01/2005
My wife and I just returned from our first trip to Vegas. What a great time we had going to shows and enjoying the pool. We tooked at almost every 1/2 decent hotel on the strip and still like Caesars the best. The pool was fabulous and you could go to the Venus pool if you wanted to ensure you didn't have any kids around and get a more complete tan. The food at Caesars was excellent and we loved it's central location on the strip.
Disappointed at Caesars - posted on 05/22/2007
They didn't have the double room we had booked 3 months in advance; room was short on towels; a/c had a defective fan; they didn't send the promised itemized paid hotel receipt; and my daughter was denied charges to her room when at PURE because her name was not printed on the room charge card (The Front desk had assured me completely that she had authorization to charge even though the card did not have her personal first name on it). Very disappointed in the front desk clerks (they just yes you off); long lines to check in. I won't be going back to Caesars again.

I really like staying in the Cesar Palace, excelent location, excelente, shows and shops. The rooms are really big and the bed is the best thing. The hospitality and the services are really good. The casino is big, but the tables are a little bit crowded if you want you can reserve a table. The food is good. When I go to Las Vegas again I defentively will stay in Cesar Palace

From the moment you step into Caesars you have entered the ultimate hotel. From the beautiful Architectual Design to the amazing pools. The rooms are very clean. The entertainment is amazing. The shopping is the best in Las Vegas or maybe even the world. Everyone is friendly. We saw Celine Dion's show A New Day which is in the colosseum at Caesars. It was Absolutely Amazing!

I loved our stay but was extremely disappointed in Celine Dion. She cancelled her show and she was the reason we came to Las Vegas.

This was our second time in Las Vegas and our first stay at Caesars and we were not disappointed. The room service was prompt, the food was hot, and the employees were very cheerful and helpful. The restaurants are fantastic and the service in them was great. We will definitely stay again.

Great service and very friendly front desk personnel. Bed was not comfortable. Light bulb blown in bedroom lamp and also one out in the bathroom. Jacuzzi/hot tub jets not functioning properly. Toilet very slow flushing. There should be more privacy for bathrooms, rather than the glass doors, and we could hear the person next door when they turned on the shower. You should also not hear others "doing their business" in the bathroom while you lay in bed. Walking through the hotel is terrible for non-smokers, based on the casino arrangements, can't avoid the smoke.Slot machines too tight.
Palace Tower experience - posted on 11/07/2006
Our stay in the Palace Tower at Caesar's was great. The room was exceptional, kudos on the jacuzzi tub! Room service was promt and the food was great! Only downer was the service at the SPA on the 2nd floor. Otherwise, a trip that exceeded expectations.

By far, one of the best places to stay in Vegas. The pool area is amazing; probably one of the top 5 in Vegas. Shopping is great in the Forum Shops, and the casino is fun and exciting. Room was large, a very nice size, and we had a great view. One of the classics.

our stay at Caesars was simply amazing. The room was incredibly clean, with the best in luxurious amenities. The service was great, and the staff very friendly. My daughter had left her MP3 player in the room when we checked out, and the lost and found department went out of their way to help locate it, and contacted me by promptly for its safe return. Caesars is by far the best place we have ever stayed, and we travel a lot. It will definately be our first choice when returning to Vegas in the fall.

First Time in Vegas - posted on 07/11/2006
Caesars is a great place to stay for your first visit. We loved it. Sometimes the service at the pool was a little bit too long, but all the other amenities were great. Our next choice would be Mandalay Bay. Shopping was more of an amazement to us because of the prices. Needless to say we just window shopped! Food was awesome. They have so many good restaurants. We upgraded our room to the Palace Tower in order to be close to the pool. A must see in Vegas!
Classiest hotel in Vegas! - posted on 07/10/2006
We upgraded to the newly renovated Palace Tower. It was a beautifully appointed and large room. I have never slept so well on a hotel bed. The bathroom was gorgeous as well as perfectly functional. We were allowed to check in at 0800 in the morning, pretty surprising on a busy 4th of July weekend. the desk clerk was very nice and phoned us 15 min. after we checked in to make sure we were happy with our room. One of the best hotel experiences ever!!
Horrible - posted on 07/07/2006
We paid $175 a night for the room. It was horrible. Carpet was so dirty. Bedspreads looked like they were bought at garage sale. Very upset. I will never stay there again. Save your money and go some where else.
Ready to go back! - posted on 06/30/2006
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were so impressed by the architecture, statuary, marble and granite. Our room was upgraded to include a spa bath and the mirrors on the ceilings were cool. *** checked us in quickly and sent us an anniversary gift and she was friendly and cordial. We would definitely go back and recommend Caesars to anyone going to Vegas. Management at the Venus pool needs to get pricing set; we were told one price on the phone and another when we wanted to go in. That was handled pretty quickly though.
Room Change Accommodated - posted on 06/29/2006
Our first room was in the original tower. The bathroom had been renovated and was fine but the room carpet was dirty. The hotel was too full to move us to a clean NS room, but they did move us to a nicer room the 2nd night. Service was courteous.
Great Hotel-wacky buffet - posted on 06/26/2006
Large, high end hotel. Fantastic room in the Palace tower. Fully stocked minibar, flat panel TV. Luxurious bathroom. The dinner buffet at Cafe' Lago was a strange mix of foods and had a very limited selection. Not at all worthy of Ceasers and not recommended. The breakfast buffet at this same cafe' was much better. Good deals are harder to find in Vegas though and this hotel is expensive all the way around.
Room Trouble - posted on 06/24/2006
Had some overall trouble with the rooms. Be prepared for rooms with NO doors on the bathrooms. Yikes! Plumbing smells and then complaints lead to a room change, with no improvement. The new room had wet carpets and a semi-clean bathroom. Second complaint lead to an upgraded room, but the aggrivation almost ruined the trip. In the long run the name DOES NOT pull this hotel through in my eyes. For less money, I have stayed at MUCH nicer hotels on the strip.

Caesar - posted on 06/01/2006
Read the reviews on Caesar's, and given the age, I was a little concerned. You would never guess that this property has been around since 1966. Everything was great, the service and friendliness of the personnel was exceptional, and even though its huge, getting around wasn't an issue. I don't clearly understand why anyone would get lost, there are signs overhead everywhere. Maybe its the cocktails, or perhaps the other reviewers just don't look up....hmmm. Overall great experience and very professional establishment.
Forum Tower needs a face lift - posted on 05/27/2006
We go to Vegas on business at least six times a year and will think twice about using Caesar?s again. Our ?upgraded? room was tattered and uncomfortable. Some of the issues: hole in the bathroom wall repaired by stuffing tissue in it; hair dryer ripped from the wall and those holes remained; mattress felt as if it had been stuffed with pecan shells; toilet spontaneously flushed about every fifteen minutes; rooftop lights pointed into room. Our complaints brought no resolution.

New August Tower was beautiful, the room overlooked the strip and Belagio fountain. Where ever you ate the food was superior!
broken glass - posted on 05/22/2006
We found shards of glass on the floor: the hotel did not immediately offer a room change, and then nothing else. The customer service rep. said that she would get back to me, although she never did. Funny enough, we changed to a room across the hallway, another Palace Tower room, and the amenities were different than our two rooms: the second room had MUCH BETTER toilettries and even had robes, and slippers. We already paid extra to upgrade to the Palace Tower, so I wonder if they usually reserve these "upgraded" rooms for non-package bookings?

Pool was great, especially cushioned lounge chairs. Not a lot of shade - need to get down there early to get a shaded seat. Got a lot of food at the pooolside grill - good quality. Too expensive to gamble there. No more $5.00 blackjack tables! We only found 2 that were under $25 a hand! All the places we ate had very good food, and a lot of it. The place is huge - good variety of entertainment.

we stayed in the roman tower for 2 nights listening to a CONSTANT banging within the wall. our cable went out, too. they tried to move us to a room (still in the roman) with 2 dbl beds. we fussed and they moved us to a suite in the augustus. no ac and the toilet was broken. they knocked off 200 bucks, but a feel night would have been more appropriate.

The beds weren't the best, but I wasn't here to sleep...be sure to get a comp card.

This was our first experience at a 4 star in Vegas and we loved it. Very nice at front desk and they could tell we were not highrollers or affluent travelers. They gave us just what we graciously asked. The pool here is worth the price! We will stay here just for that. We liked the big casino floor, its open and quiet for Vegas. Guests here seem to like to dress up , which we like and enjoy. Lots to do, lots of eateries and shops, bars and great people watching. We had our 12 year old boy with us and he had fun. For what is available it's the best buy in Vegas!

We got married at Caesar's and it was wonderful! The wedding staff was awesome! When we first arrived, a VIP guest was staying in the room was had reserved and he refused to leave at check-out time! Staff was very considerate and made every effort to let him know we were waiting for the room. Then he trashed the room before he left! Managment was quick to get housekeeping up there and clean it up. My only complaint was the cleanliness. Overall the room was clean, but there was an accumulation of dust and grime in the nooks and crevaces (such as on the lighting fixtures).

I was disappointed that there was no coffee maker in the room, especially considering the room rates! They also charged for bottled water. Since I was at a conference for work (a nonprofit agency), I was on a tight budget, which admittedly is not the norm in Vegas, and certainly not at this hotel. Still wherever I stay I expect a coffee maker and cushy pillows -- no dice at Caesar's!
