Pathetic!!! - posted on 05/03/2007
This "resort" was a sad disappointment. A tired old motor lodge with fresh paint is still nothing but a tired old motor lodge. Housekeeping neglected to place extra tp in our room-which we did not discover until after 1AM of our 2nd night. It took staff well over an hour to locate and deliver another roll to our room. The hot tub was colder than ice and the dirty pools were only slightly more tepid. Stray kittens were living in the bushes outside our building, which makes me wonder what else was lurking in the dark parking lot. Rather stay in the slums of the strip next time!
relax after the strip - posted on 04/26/2007
my friends and I enjoyed the quiet after partying on the strip and going to shows it was nice to come home to our quiet, clean room. The front desk staff were friendly and available and the bell boys hopped to to get us a cab when we wanted one.Hot water at all times and soft blankets made our stay great!
Just Right for Non-Gambler - posted on 03/05/2007
Not glamour & fancy like MGM or Wynn, also without the smoke, flashy lights and noise. It is more like an apartment, a home away from home. It is not a new facility, so do expect some fixtures are showing age. But, staff are friendly and helpful. The room is very spacious, it worked great for me.
Close to strip - posted on 03/01/2007
This was a week long stay beds need to be replaced, suite had all amenities needed walking distance to strip. Good security, tropic setting, a nice stay in Vegas.
Great Place To Stay - posted on 10/21/2006
I really liked this place. It was very clean. I like that the bedroom is separate from the tv room and that they have 2 tv's, and the kitchenette is really cool with a little bar.
Dark Walkways - posted on 06/10/2006
The hotel location is off from the strip and close to the airport which was a positive. The rooms were outside of the lobby (motel) and the walk ways were extremely dark. There wasn't ample lighting for the area. If you are a single female or male traveling, I wouldn't recommend this hotel since their are corners where you can't see who could be on the other side. The furniture in the sitting area of two rooms I visited were spotted and dirty. The televisions (2) in each room were not working. I wouldn't recommend the hotel to anyone.
Sad old motor lodge, NOT A RESORT - posted on 06/06/2006
This hotel was a big disapointment. PLEASE Believe all the bad reviews. We had a dirty room, bugs in the bathroom, holes in the tiles. You can't expect a resort...that is ONLY a name. One small restaurant food fair, atmosphere cheap. Have to drive past dumpsters with waste around it to get to room. "Manicured" landscaping is a joke. There is a wedding arbor surrounded with fake plastic plants. The first room we were assigned had an old airconditioner, parts hanging from it blowing dust, hot air in the room. We should have changed to another hotel.
Don't stay here! - posted on 04/11/2006
This was definitely a disappointment. Their website is very deceiving. We ended up checking out the first night. The first room we tried did not have a pull out sofa as promised and then the second room was a mess. The phones didn't work. The fireplace had been removed and left with just an empty hole. The TV didn't work. The air conditioners didn't work. It was a joke! The front of the hotel looks really nice, but as you drive around back it just looks scary!

You need new beds, both were uncomfortable. I have been staying here for 4 years, you have slipped in quality. Probably will never go back.
My Company uses ALexis Resort 2 weekends a month - posted on 12/28/2005
This hotel and all its amenities ranks up there with the best. My company uses ONLY the Alexis because it is such a GREAT place. Our executives and clients stay at Alexis 2 weekends of EVERY month throughout the entire year.
Alexis Park- a good value in Vegas - posted on 12/18/2005
A nice change to the strip casino hotels. Not for the extremely particular, but a great value if you can overlook a few minor asthetics. The room was slightly dated, but very comfortable, clean and spacious. If you order room service, the veggie pizza is great. Having high speed internet access is a great added value. The complex has nice grounds, only the lobby area needs some sprucing up. The area around the hotel is less touristy, yet the Hard Rock in just across the street with a casino. Pleanty of local "color" and some great eateries within walking distance. I would stay here again.
Resort ? Not Even close !! - posted on 12/11/2005
This place is dirty. The floors in the rooms aren't even or flat. The place needs a major remodeling. It doesn't have half of the features the other discount resorts in Las Vegas have, and if you can find a staff member (except in reservations, of course) they don't have a clue about activities, features, times, and events at the motel. I attempted to find a manager or acting manager to ask some questions and concerns and he/she couldn't even be found. With dozens of discount resorts in Las Vegas, don't even waste your time thinking about this one.
Don't Stay Here Unless You Absolutely Have To! - posted on 11/29/2005
I wanted to like this hotel because it was off the strip and the price was fair BUT the rooms were not clean, the air/heat did not work, the staff kept setting the room up for 2 people when we actually had 4, we found dirty socks (not ours) mixed up in the bed linens, etc, etc.
Not What I Expected - posted on 11/21/2005
There was no hot water for over 7 hours; internet access...a joke....no wireless and you must supply your own ethernet cable, there is not one even to borrow; the carpet was old and dirty--gum stuck in it--bed was very hard, thin mattress; new heating and air conditioning unit that the staff nor I could figure out how to switch from air to heat; refrigerator was not clean either. If they could make the rest of the hotel look like the lobby.....that would be GREAT!

hotel was extremely comfortable. Nice get away from strip scene. Staff was wonderful and accommodating. I will stay again and again.
Good for family - posted on 04/10/2005
This is a non-gaming hotel which was great for the family to come back to after hitting the Vegas highlights. It is not a showy Vegas hotel but it was quiet and roomy for the family. Easy access from the parking lot is also great.

This hotel was great for my family and I to spend time at. The pools are great and the rooms are very large. I would say that this is a great place to go to get away from the noise without the cost.

Maintainance and lack of repair were issues in room and common areas. The pictures on this site look much better than reality. Room smelled like mildew, shower door kept falling off, person-size hole in wall of closet (someone could hide in there. We jammed chair against door), ripped carpet, a/c not working. No microwave, utensils etc.in kitchen. Far from strip and in an area where you wouldn't want to walk. No security. Grounds can be accessed at any time by anyone. Did not feel safe at night. No shuttle to strip.
weekend get away - posted on 01/07/2005
My Wife and I love this property the rooms are huge, a living room and bedroom! Very good value. The room service and resturant both have excellent food. They even have a Night Club with out a huge line and $40 cover. This is a great place to get away for a weekend yet you are so close to the strip.
For next time - posted on 01/02/2005
THis was more then we expected to see. By Vegas standards we got what we paid for and so much more. We enjoyed a massage before hitting the strip for all night of gambling. I like it was off the strip but close enough access. For those that book online and prepay.. get there early as you will still have to wait in that line!!! They need an express line for prepaid customers. We will stay again in Feb 05 for the George Strait concert!!!
