I certainly would recommend this hotel to family and friends driving through Nebraska. Easy on/off the interstate and access to other eating facilities greatly appreciated.

Accommodations made for first floor, king room near an exit much appreciated.

Location not protected against 52 mph winds.

The convenience of the hotel being at the crossroads of I-80 and RT 81 was extremely convenient to find. I was a business traveler in the area and had never been here before. Checking in was a breeze, no complications at all.

Easy access to the internet for laptops.

Although it was convenient to have a restaurant on-site, the quality of the Applebee's food and service was not impressive.

The 122-room Holiday Inn York I-80 NE is located 40 miles west of Lincoln and 40 miles east of Grand Island and provides quality accommodation for both the business and pleasure traveler. Items included with the room rate at this two-story, full-service hotel are high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, a morning newspaper, in-room coffee and parking. There are five meeting rooms available for business or social functions. The largest can accommodate 300 guests. Area landmarks and attractions include the York Country Club, the Junction Motor Speedway, Recharge Lake, the Yorkshire Playhouse, Wessels Living History Farm, Kirkpatrick North Wildlife Management Basin and Lee's Legendary Marble Museum.

The reviews on this Holiday Inn have improved since major renovations to this York hotel have been completed. It is still not the most popular hotel in the area but most guests had a good time and appreciated the clean and comfortable rooms. Many clients enjoyed the meals in the on-site Applebees and said the employees at both the restaurant and the hotel were professional and friendly. Most visitors said they would stay here again and had no problem recommending the property to fellow travelers.
