Overall the stay was nice. The pool was not very warm which was unfortunate. The staff advised us that they had trouble with the pool heating system. The hot tubs were hot but the water looked dirty. We would give the holiday inn central another try with some checking ahead of time on these issues.
Great food and clean.

Beautiful place, rooms are a bit small, and lacks sufficient outlets for the modern business traveler. The pools are beautiful - however the sauna was not functioning.

Accommodations
All the guestrooms and 54 suites have a work desk with high-speed Internet access, television with cable news and movie channels, pay-per-view movies, iron and ironing board, coffeemaker, telephone with voicemail and speakerphone, and a hairdryer. The suites have the added benefit of a microwave oven and refrigerator. Connecting rooms, rollaway beds and cribs are available.
Amenities offered
The on-site CoCo Key is a 60,000 square-foot indoor water resort, with three 40-foot high slides. Parrot's Perch is an interactive island separated by an adventure river with a 300-gallon dump bucket. The Palm Grotto is an adult lounge and there are specialty drinks available in the Wet Rooster Bar. The 24-hour front desk has safe deposit boxes and information on area events and attractions. Other amenities include a business center, daily housekeeping, a guest laundry, same-day dry cleaning service, an ATM and ice and vending machines. The on-site Benton’s Bar and Grill is open for breakfast lunch and dinner and room service is available from 6.30am until 10pm.

This Holiday Inn works well for some visitors to Omaha – but no so well for others. Most agree that the on-site CoCo Key Water Resort is a major plus and that is why many families stay here. Hopefully the negative reviews about the accommodation will stop now that a major renovation of the property has been completed. There were some minor moans that the bathrooms were too small but many guests said they received attentive and prompt service from the front desk. Many guests said they would return here while others said they would seek something a little quieter the next time they came to town.
