The hotel is convenient to I-80 and Grand Island shopping. Nice, clean facility with pool and hot tub.

Recently updated private and public areas, clean, friendly, 4 pillows each bed.

Slept well, but would like pillow-top mattress and a night light in each room; pool depth less than 1 meter for young children.

The pet-friendly Holiday Inn I-80 Grand Island is adjacent to the Platte River and comprises 162 rooms equally suited to the vacationer or business traveler. Items included with the room rate at this two-story, full-service hotel are high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, a morning newspaper, in-room tea and coffee and parking. There are seven meeting rooms available for business or social functions. The largest can accommodate 225 guests. Area landmarks and attractions include Mormon Island Recreation Park, the Stuhr Museum of the Prairie Pioneer, horse racing at Fonner Park, the Island Oasis Water Park, Hastings Museum, Central Nebraska Gun Club and Mid-Nebraska Speedway which is three miles from the hotel.

All the guestrooms and three suites have a work desk with high-speed Internet access, television with cable news and movie channels, DVD player, refrigerator, microwave oven, iron and ironing board, tea and coffee making facilities, two dual-line telephones with voicemail and speakerphone, and a hairdryer. The suites have the added benefit of a whirlpool bathtub. Connecting rooms, rollaway beds and cribs are available.

Several guests who have stayed at this Holiday Inn rate it as the best place to stay on Grand Island. The rooms are clean and spacious and the top notch team of employees works hard to insure that everyone has an enjoyable time. Many guests appreciated the quieter location but within easy reach of all the area attractions. Most visitors said they will be back to this hotel on future visits to the area and had no problem recommending this pet-friendly property to fellow travelers.
