The pet-friendly Comfort Inn Shelby is near the Marias Museum of History and Art and comprises 72 reasonably priced rooms equally suited to the business or pleasure traveler. Items included with the room rate at this three-story motel are an expanded continental breakfast, high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, in-room coffee and parking. The property is located off Interstate 15 and is close to the Toole County Courthouse, the Marias Valley Golf and Country Club, the Toole County Hospital and Champions Park. Shelby is the year-long habitat for grizzly bears, black bears, elk, mule, deer, white-tailed deer, mountain goats, bighorn sheep and antelope. Local lakes and streams and the Lewis and Clark National Forest provide ample fishing and recreation opportunities.

Several couples said this Comfort Inn was ideal for a weekend away and said the rooms here were both spacious and comfortable. There were good reviews about the efficient and friendly team of employees especially the friendly attendant at the breakfast buffet who not only kept the food replenished but had lots of helpful local knowledge. Most clients said they would stay at this hotel on future visits to Shelby and had no hesitation in recommending the property to fellow travelers.
