I had a nice room on the first floor, end toward parking, so getting to my car was very convenient. The continental breakfast -- especially the waffles -- was terrific. I was pleased by the availability of highspeed Internet, and used it from the lobby, but unfortunately in my room the reception was in and out. There are no decent restaurants within walking distance, and the convenience store/gas station across the street is pretty creepy and expensive, but the hotel was great.

Stayed over a weekend. Not sure what was more annoying... The party that went on until 1:00am or the Fire Drill at 2:00am. Room was clean, and I loved the waffels at the breakfast. For the price, you can't go too wrong.

THE CELING AND WALLS WERE MOLDY. THE BATHROOM WAS CLEAN. MATTRESS WAS OLD. SOMEONE WOKE ME UP EARLY EVERY MORNING, THOUGH I DID NOT REQUEST A WAKE-UP CALL...VERY ANNOYING. CHECK IN/OUT WAS VERY SPEEDY.

When we returned for the second nite, a do not distrub sign had been placed on the door. To our surprise the room had not been cleaned. The clerk did ofter to give us a different room. It was late and we were too tired to move our belongings to a different room.
Smoking - posted on 06/15/2005
The lobby was very smokey and when walking in the employees were sitting in an easy chair smoking. Even the non-smoking rooms smelled of smoke because it drifted down the hallways

The rooms were nice enough, dark hallways and the exercise facility had several machines that didn't work. The continental breakfast was good. The women's prison was only a few blocks away and this was not the best part of town but not scary either.
