The Residence Inn by Marriott Saint Louis Downtown is the first and only extended stay hotel in downtown. The eight-story, non-smoking hotel has three different types of accommodation - studios, and one, and two-bedroom suites. Items included with the room rates are an extensive breakfast buffet, an evening social hour, high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. The property is a short drive from eight golf courses. Area landmarks and attractions include the St. Louis Gateway Arch, the Scottrade Center, Busch Stadium, President Casino, Laclede’s Landing, the St. Louis Art Museum and the St. Louis Zoo. The inn has three meeting rooms for social or business functions. The largest can accommodate 72 guests.

Regular visitors to Saint Louis say this is the best place to stay because of the spacious accommodation, reasonable rates and the free shuttle that operates within a three-mile radius of the property. All the suites have a fully equipped kitchen with microwave and conventional oven, full-size refrigerator with icemaker, toaster, dishwasher, coffeemaker and a full set of cutlery and crockery. There is a work desk with high-speed Internet access, two-line telephone with voicemail and speakerphone, pullout sofa bed, cable television with movie channels, pay-per-view movies, hairdryer and iron and ironing board. The bathrooms have a bathtub and separate shower.
